When we think about celebrities, sometimes we think about their famous families or their luxurious lifestyle. But what really makes them special is what they do for the world. It is their charitable work that helps others and makes a difference. One of the most famous examples is actress and singer Angelina Jolie. She is known for her extensive work in the field of humanitarianism and has been named one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Her philanthropic work helped over 20 million people around the world and put her in the Guinness Book of World Records for most humanitarian actions by an individual in one year. If you want to make a difference in the world, you can start by volunteering, being active in your community, or by supporting charities. But if you want to leave a lasting impression, you might consider getting a tattoo. Here is a list of top tattooed celebrities who don’t necessarily like getting inked.
Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner is the daughter of former fashion icon, Kim Kardashian, and her husband, Kris Jenner. She made headlines last week when she revealed that she doesn’t get along with her sister, “Kardashian royalty”, Khloé. The 18-year-old didn’t rule out the possibility of getting a gun tattooed on her hand, but said she would prefer a rose. She said that although she has a tough outer shell, she is a “soft kid” underneath and that her sister and her have “never been close”. She added that she believes there is “no wrong answer” when it comes to the people she cares about. It seems that Kylie was trying to make her relationship with Khloé public but did not want to hurt her family by doing so. So while we might see a relationship blossom between the two, it certainly won’t be based on mutual affection. This is not the first time that Kylie has teased a connection with someone, only to have it dissolve. She had a 13-year-old relationship with Justin Bieber, before he became a pop star. While the press often paints a picture of teen celebrities as being sheltered and protected, the reality is often very different. These kids have to grow up too quickly and are put in many, many situations that most people would not have to face.
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus is an American actress, singer, and fashion icon. She is best known for her songs “Party in the U.S.A” and “We Can’t Stop”, which both topped the Billboard Top 100 in 2015. She also released a film called Miley Cyrus: The Movement in November 2015 and has a movie coming out in January 2021. In the past, Miley has talked about having a “Mullets before Metal” phase, twerking, and being the “hottest girl in [the] club”. She also loves tattoos and has a sleeve tattoo on her right arm. Miley tweeted in September 2019 that she got the tattoo to represent her love for Ru Paul’s Drag Race. She wrote: “And I couldn’t choose a better way to represent my love for Ru Paul’s Drag Race than by getting a tattoo of one of the most iconic wigs in television history.” She further explained that she knows people will constantly come after her with insults because of her music, but that she doesn’t care. She wants to make a statement about how she feels and that she is not afraid of being different or of standing out.
Rob Pattinson
Rob Pattinson is an English actor and musician. He made his acting debut in 2008, appearing in the film The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Since then, he has appeared in films such as Midnight in Paris, The Lost City, and What He Wants, and has been filming Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. On television, he starred in the 2015 revival of the classic series, The Twilight Zone, and he has been a judge on the popular U.S. reality show, The Voice. In 2019, he released his fifth studio album, High As Hope. He wrote and composed all of the songs on the album, and co-wrote one with Jessie J. This is not the first time that Rob has spoken out against tattoos. In a 2019 interview with Vanity Fair, when asked about the growing popularity of tattoos among Millennials, he said: “I don’t like tattoos, actually. I think they’re horrible. They’re horrible for many reasons.” He explained that he finds the design process “unsettling” and that he has never had one himself because he doesn’t like the way they look. He cited a fake one he saw on someone’s ankle as being the only exception. Rob went on to say that although he has seen many celebrities get inked, he doesn’t believe it reflects who they are. He said that he tries to stay away from other people’s opinions and that he doesn’t care what people think about him. He is, however, aware that some people might think he is “just trying to be cool” or “thrifty”.
Rihanna
Rihanna is a singer, songwriter, and fashion icon. She came to prominence in the music industry as a teenager, when she was signed to a record label at the age of 16. Since then, she has released a number of successful albums, and has won numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards and six MTV Video Music Awards. Rihanna has been featured in several high-profile collaborations, including Kanye West’s Yeezus and Bonjoro’s Culture Without Colour. In 2019, Rihanna was named the most influential woman of the year by Britain’s The Observer newspaper. In 2020, she became the first solo female artist to be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. In 2021, Rihanna and her music label, Def Jam, reportedly paid over US$30 million to settle a plagiarism lawsuit involving the song “Heading Back to School” by Mandy Moore and Ryan Dougan. During a September 2021 performance in Las Vegas, Rihanna sported a new tattoo on her neck, in reference to the song and its lyrics. The ink, designed by tattoo artist Thierry Despont, is a combination of the words “believe” and “create”. The letters “BD” form the “believe” part of the tattoo, while an anchor design forms the “create” part. In June 2022, Rihanna revealed that she got her “creating” tattoo removed, writing on social media: “The idea behind this tattoo was to have a word that embodies who I am as a person and as an artist. I wanted to have a piece of art that people would look at and feel something. Now that it’s been a couple of months, I’ve had a chance to look at it, and while I still believe in what it stands for, I don’t think it represents me anymore. So I’ve taken down the word ‘create’…”. She has yet to reveal what she will do about the “believe” tattoo.
Travis Scott
Travis Scott is a Grammy-nominated American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and business venture capitalist. He is one of the best-selling artists of all time, having reached sales of over 27 million albums worldwide. He is best known for his singles “24 Hrs”, “Antidote”, and “Both Sides”, which were all successful on the Billboard Top 100. He founded his own label, Astroworld, in 2015. On October 8, 2019, Scott was charged with misdemeanor assault after allegedly hitting a man at a Halloween party in Los Angeles on September 20. His lawyer has denied the allegation, saying that the artist “vehemently denies” any wrongdoing and is “not guilty of any assaultive behavior”.
