Say what you will about the Twilight films, but they certainly made for some amazing tabloid fodder. The blockbuster films based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novels were released in 2009 and 2010 and are still going strong. We’re now in the thick of a media frenzy surrounding the latest addition to the ever-growing Twilight franchise, the live-action adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s The Haunted Mansion. The film is due for release this October and already has the internet abuzz with rumors of its biggest wedding scene to date. While we can’t confirm or deny whether or not Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s characters will walk down the aisle at the end of the movie, we can tell you about the behind-the-scenes antics that could make this wedding special.

Wedding Plans

If you’ve been following the news surrounding The Haunted Mansion, you’ll know that the film’s production has been filled with ups and downs. The movie had its share of dramatic story twists and turns, but for the most part, things have gone relatively smoothly. This is probably because the film’s writers and producers have been strategizing the story line since early in the production process. They knew exactly what they were doing and crafted the story line with care.

While we can’t exactly put stock in the typical wedding planning montage that pops up in most films, we can say that Rob and Kristen have definitely been busy. The couple has had a hard time holding secret wedding shows for friends and family, but they’ve managed to keep the wedding details under wraps. In fact, it wasn’t until recently that they even discussed their wedding plans with the press. When Rob’s dad passed away earlier this year, the press finally got the story it had been waiting for and pounced, proclaiming that Rob and Kristen were set to tie the knot in early October.

The Guest List

We’re not exactly sure how many people The Twilight Saga: The Haunted Mansion will be able to squeeze into its famous ballroom, but we’re sure it will be a fairly small guest list. While some outlets have reported that the film will feature various cameos from real life celebrities, it seems more likely that we’ll see a selection of Stephen King characters. Perhaps this is because he wrote the screenplay or because it’s such a compelling story, but we think it’s more likely that Stephenie Meyer’s famous vampires will have some familiar faces to invite.

Stephenie Meyer’s The Host is one of the most beloved novels in the Twilight franchise and is often cited as one of the best vampire stories ever written. It fits perfectly into the haunted mansion storyline and would be a great opportunity for the filmmakers to pay homage to the story’s famous characters. In the novel, the protagonist Charlie Ballard spends a lot of time at a bar called The Viking Tavern, where he meets a group of people who become his lifelong friends. One of these friends is an older woman named Victoria who turns out to be a werewolf. At the end of the story, everybody in the bar is invited to the protagonist’s wedding, including Victoria who turns out to be his bridesmaid. With the exception of Stephenie Meyer’s own family, every major character from the novel is expected to attend this wedding. It would be a great opportunity for the filmmakers to bring some of these characters to life and for the audience to see some classic Twilight moments. We think it’s quite possible that Rob and Kristen’s wedding will be filled with famous faces.

The Reception

The reception for Rob and Kristen’s wedding will be one of the most important and memorable events of their lives. It will be filled with their closest family and friends as well as some special cameos from the world of film and TV. We can’t help but feel that this is going to be one memorable party and are really looking forward to seeing the couple enjoy their big day.
