He Is An Evangelical Christian
I am a preacher who loves Jesus and is passionate about seeing lives changed by His Grace. My desire is to see families come back to the church, and for individuals to find real and lasting happiness in Christ. It is my joy and excitement to announce that Christ has honored me and chosen me to carry out this purpose. I have been called to be the next Senior Pastor of Crossroads Chapel in Calgary, AB Canada, and I could not be more thrilled and humbled by the opportunity!
He Is A Doctor By Education
I have a Doctor of Divinity degree from Regent University in Virginia, and I am passionate about helping people come to know the wonderful gift that is faith in Christ. My aim is to teach the Word of God and to lead people to a personal experience of salvation through Jesus Christ. I strive to be obedient to what Jesus commanded His disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” That is what I am doing, and I could not be more content!
He Respected Authority
As a kid, I always wanted to be like my heroes in life. Growing up, I admired people who were respected in their community and had a high moral compass. One of my earliest memories is of my dad pointing me to the TV so I could see the reverend shouting at somebody. I thought it was interesting how passionate this man was about what he believed in, even when he was expressing his opinions in front of the whole country.
I learned early in my life that there is a difference between right and wrong, and that people who believe in a higher power often have the courage to speak up against societal norms. They may not always act and think in a way that is conforming to what is accepted, but they will never betray what is important to them.
He Fights For The Faith
It takes a lot of courage to speak up for your beliefs. When you stand up for what you believe in, you often end up putting your own life at risk. Over the last couple of years, I have had the opportunity to speak at various churches and other organizations across Canada about my faith and convictions. It is hard to believe that God has been good to me and I am grateful for the encouragement and protection of Heavenly Father.
He Preaches A Hard Message
You might be used to seeing happy Jesus preachers who smile and sing songs at your church, but I am not one of them. I preach a hard message about sin, repentance, and faith. I challenge Christians to examine their lives closely and be honest about their failings. There is no shame in admitting that you are not perfect and that you need God’s help. If you want to see real change in your life, you must be willing to accept this message and be challenged to change by it. You must be open to the Holy Spirit’s influence in your life. And you must have an open and honest conversation with God in prayer and worship. This is the only way God can give you new desires and lead you into true and lasting happiness!
