It’s always a toss-up as to who is the better looking of the two Robs. While we can argue about their acting or music talent for hours, one thing we know for sure is that they are extremely good-looking men. So, in light of that, let’s rank the hotness of these two hotties!

Using the same 25-point scale from 1 to 10 for their film roles (1 meaning “not at all” and 10 meaning “to a very large extent”), here are our rankings for the hottest Robs based on the overall filmography.
25. Robert Pattinson
Despite starring in some of the most successful and acclaimed films of all time, Robert Pattinson still finds himself in the shadow of his Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart. A self-admitted ‘method actor’, Robert has been acting for years and amassed a fortune estimated at $50 million. We feel that he is over-rated as a film actor but he is still gorgeous in real life. He has a certain charisma that makes him easy on the eye (and, of course, we cannot resist a man with an English accent…).
24. Paul Dano
It’s fair to say that Paul Dano is currently the hottest young actor today. The 25-year-old took the world by storm with his performance in the 2010 indie hit, Take Shelter. The New York Times even called it ‘one of the best performances by a newcomer in a long time’. Since then, he hasn’t stopped acting. In fact, he has been rather selective about the roles he takes on, choosing to work with some of the biggest and hottest directors in Hollywood. Needless to say, Dano is guaranteed to turn heads (and, again, we can’t resist a man with a Northern English accent…).
23. Shia LaBeouf
It seems like Shia LaBeouf went from being the hottest thing in Hollywood to being criticized for his ‘over-sexualization’ (one critic even called for a boycott of his films). The 26-year-old began his acting career in 2007, with a role on the short-lived comedy series, ‘The Shield’. Since then, he has worked with some of the biggest and most demanding names in Hollywood. Although he has been able to establish himself as a bankable actor, Shia is still struggling to prove himself as a talented director. All in all, a bit of a wild card.
22. Jake Gyllenhaal
Jake Gyllenhaal is one of the best known and most well-liked actors in Hollywood, due mainly to his work on the ‘Prison’ series. The 29-year-old has proven himself time and time again, with his versatility and ability to play various characters. In fact, one of his most popular and recognizable portrayals was perhaps, John Hill in the 2012 film, Moneyball. It seems like the part of Moneyball’s accountant, Billy Beane, was an all-time career high for Gyllenhaal. He has also proven himself to be a solid lead actor, teaming up with some of the best directors in Hollywood. In addition to his work in film, Jake has spent a good deal of his time off the screen writing music and performing songs. He is also a trained classical violinist. So, it’s no wonder that he is often typecast as a ‘serious’ or ‘introverted’ character. However, his fame and fortune seem to have gone to his head, and he has become extremely shy and reclusive. His publicist told reporters, “There are no plans for him to do any public appearances at this time. He’s focused on getting his career and life back on track. He’d rather not indulge in any extracurricular activities.”
21. Leonardo DiCaprio
We all know that Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. He’s been acting for years and is often typecast as a ‘rich boy’ or ‘alpha male’ character. Although he has proven himself as an extremely talented actor, he has often played bad boys and villains. In the coming years, we hope to see more of Leonardo as a leading man. In the meantime, we will enjoy his brilliant performances as Don John, a charismatic and sophisticated gentleman, with an eye for ladies, or as the charming but sinister Mr. De Klerk in The Aviator.
