You’d think that with all the rumors and reports about his love life, Rob Pattinson would want to keep things low-key. But, nope! The 26-year-old Australian actor is rolling out the red carpet season after season. This year, he’s kicked things off by unveiling his 2013 calendar. And, no, we’re not talking about a special edition of the Twilight series.
The Calendar has 24 brand-new scenes from Pattinson’s upcoming film, The Wolf of Wall Street. Fans of the actor will want to see what he’s got in store for them. Especially since the calendar also features great shots of Pattinson wearing a rather incredible, one-of-a-kind costume. We’re talking about the legendary Tweedlebeard. Of course, the calendar also has the usual array of gorgeous ladies and hunky guys. But let’s be honest—we’re not that surprised that the man didn’t run out of steam when it came to the ladies. He’s definitely a ladies’ man. We can’t forget about that whole vampire thing, either.
One Of A Kind
The whole point of the calendar is to celebrate “the artistry and uniqueness of [Pattinson’s] incredible design work,” according to the description on the official website. And it’s safe to assume that everyone who buys this calendar is somebody who’s passionate about fashion, design, and—you guessed it—vampires.
The calendar is available for pre-order now. And it will be delivered around mid-April 2013. So for those of you who want to add a little something different to your wardrobe next month, you’d better start ordering now.
Wearable Art
Even before he became the king of cool, Pattinson was already an artist who liked to experiment with different styles and techniques. Several of his artwork attest to this fact. But even if you don’t buy into all of that vampire stuff, you’d have to admit that his cosplay is pretty incredible.
This year, he’s taken his fascination with fashion and turned it into a full-blown fashion statement. And it’s not just about looking cool, either. According to the website, the whole point of the artwork is to “express [Pattinson’s] love for the extravagant, unique, and extraordinary.” So not only do we get to see some incredible fashion choices, but we also get to enjoy the craftsmanship that goes into making them.
No Regrets
With all of his success, it’s fair to say that Pattinson doesn’t have any regrets. At least not that he’s talked about. It’s pretty safe to assume, though, that sooner or later, he’ll have some interesting things to say about the past. And, to be honest, we’re not entirely sure that we’d want to hear them. But, you know, there are still plenty of things that we’d like to see from the past that we weren’t lucky enough to see. Hopefully, he’ll have some exciting news regarding those projects. Then we’ll have even more to talk about.
Vampire Destiny
One of the big changes that Pattinson made to his public image this year was to embrace his inner-vampire. This isn’t the first time that he’s admitted to being a vampire, but it seems like he’s finally coming to terms with it. After years of denying it, talking about how cool it would be to turn into a vampire, and even doing an entire photoshoot with blood dripping down his chin, he’s finally pulled back the veil and let us in on his dark secrets. In a way, we’re glad that he did. Even if we don’t necessarily believe in vampires, we can enjoy the fact that he finally opened up about it. And, to be honest, we’re not entirely sure that we won’t end up being converted. After all, who doesn’t want to be a vampire?
Twilight Saga
Even if we’re not Twilight fans, it’s fairly hard not to be intrigued by the Twilight series. Maybe it’s because it reminds us of something different—something a little more mature and, well, a little more exciting.
