Okay, okay, we get it! You’ve been bitten by the Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart coochie coochie bug, and all you want to do is talk about them nonstop! Well, we’ve got some bad news for you. STOP!
Yes, the Robstenators are officially a thing, and they’re stronger than we thought. The two actors met on the set of the movie Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), and sparks immediately flew. In fact, they’re so inseparable that they’ve been spotted eating lunch together, shopping together, and even walking down the street holding hands. So much for ‘steamy nights’.
No, it doesn’t stop there. The same year they met, Robsten joined forces with fashion designer Stella McCartney to form a capsule collection of formalwear for women. The collection was inspired by their friendship and featured a hoody sweater dress with a floral print and oversized trousers. (We couldn’t make this up if we tried.)
Since then, their bond has only grown stronger. During an interview for the 2012 Summer Olympics’ ambassador campaign, Stewart said, “I have a lot of people who love and support me, and that’s what I want for Rob. I want him to have people who love and support him.” The actress also added that she sees similarities between herself and her character in the movie Vanity Fair (2008), which features a fashion-challenged society woman. “I feel like I’ve been in a bubble my whole life,” Stewart said. “I’ve never really been part of the mainstream.”
How Did This Happen?
We can’t say for sure how this all started, but it’s clear that Rob and Kristen have a unique connection and certainly seem to enjoy each other’s company. Perhaps it’s because they have so much in common: Both have been in the public eye since they were teens, rose to fame as baby daddies, and then transitioned into leading man or woman roles; both are considered attractive and versatile enough to appeal to the opposite sex; and they’re both genuinely friendly, kind-hearted people. (We’re pretty sure that’s not a coincidence.)
What’s Next?
It’s hard to tell what will become of this interesting — and somewhat unlikely — couple. After all, they’re currently in the middle of a major love affair. But it’s clear that whatever the future holds, it won’t be boring!
