The Hollywood heartthrob recently released his fifth studio album, which features a collaboration with Maroon 5. Since the beginning of his acting career, Pattinson has always been vocal about his environmental concerns, which inspired the name of his fashion line, Pattinson Greene.

The designer launched a capsule collection with the luxury brand Burberry, which pays homage to the English designer’s iconic checks- with a modern twist.

We sat down with the actor to discuss his fashion choices, upcoming projects, and more.

The Fashion Icon That Inspired Him

Though he’s been acting for over a decade, it was Robert Pattinson’s role as a vampire in the 2012 film, The Rover, that truly shaped his style. Set in the future, the film tells the story of a reformed criminal who adopts a dog to help him navigate the dangers of the streets.

“I wanted to really channel my love for dogs and my respect for them, and make a kind of rough combination of both,” he said of the design. “I love the history of Burberry so much – the brand was originally started by Cecil Petteman, who designed the first hand-knitted silk scarf back in 1897. He also created the first ever printed t-shirt back in 1908. I think Burberry is a brand that is always going to be extremely relevant, and a style brand that is always going to be extremely cool.”

Why He Chooses To Shop At Burberry

Pattinson, who’s represented by the agency CAA, has been loyal to Burberry since the designer released the first ever collection of knitwear for men, back in 1939. In an interview with Vogue, the 47-year-old actor revealed that he spends 90% of his time at home binge-watching Game of Thrones and Mullets, and the other 10% shopping for clothes.

“I have a big fat wallet, and a lot of money,” he said. “I’m always buying things for myself and my friends, as well. I love a good hoodie, but I don’t wear them very often, because they’re so confining.”

The handsome GQ man of the moment added that though he doesn’t have a particularly strong connection with British accents, he does identify with them. He explained that he studies them in movie theatres, in TV shows and on the internet, so that he can portray a character with an authentic accent.

Where Does He Shop?

Pattinson is a self-confessed style icon, and he enjoys shopping at the designer brands that he’s associated with. When asked about his favourite retail locations, the actor didn’t hesitate to name a few. Burberry, Dior, and Prada are probably the brands he turns to most, as he already has a unique relationship with them. He also has a soft spot for Under Armour, as he’s been wearing their products for years.

“I actually love shopping at places like Burberry,” he said. “They have such a classic look, and they’re always doing something interesting with their clothes. It’s amazing.”

His Luxury Lingerie Line

Back in 2014, Pattinson officially declared bikini season to be over, and the world at large followed his lead. The actor didn’t seem to enjoy wearing costumes in general, and he made it clear that he would rather focus on his films and his fashion than dwell on his physical appearance. This mantra clearly applies to his lingerie line as well.

Since then, Pattinson’s Lingerie Line has become more and more luxurious, with each collection featuring new, innovative elements. Whether it’s lace, frills, or embroidery, each piece is designed to tantalise and amaze.

“A lot of people will see this collection and think about my films and how I portrayed Edward in part five,” he said of the lingerie line. “But mostly, they’ll remember the tattoos.”
