From the outside, it seems as though actress Kristen Stewart and her film director husband Robert Pattinson might always be in a rush. The Bizarro World of ‘Twilight: Love and War’
On March 23, 2020, Stewart and Pattinson premiered their romantic comedy, Twilight: Love and War. The movie marked both the directorial debut of Pattinson and a rare collaboration between the director and star. Set in the alternative universe inspired by the Twilight series, the film sees Stewart playing a vampire named Victoria, a character based on her real-life wife, Genevieve. In the movie, Victoria starts dating a human named Taylor (played by Pattinson), but when they break up, she realizes that she’s actually in love with her son’s best friend, Adam (played by Joe Alwyn). When Adam becomes a father himself and learns of his long-lost mother, he decides to track her down and make amends, despite the objections of Taylor and his ex-wife, played by Kate Winslet.
The result is a romantic comedy about a middle-aged mother who tries to fulfill her lifelong quest to become a part of the family and a husband and father who must juggle his loyalty to his children with his new responsibilities towards her.
