If you’re a fan of the Twilight Saga or Justified, you’ve probably heard of Robert Pattinson. He plays the tragic, brooding vampire, Edward Cullen in the blockbuster movies from Summit Entertainment. But, perhaps more importantly, he plays the role of John Wick in the upcoming John Wick: Chapter Two. This chapter of the John Wick franchise is one of the most beloved of the year and it’s easy to see why. The first movie is a pure action-adventure and it really shows off Wick’s amazing skills as an assassin. John Wick: Chapter Two is going to be out at some point in 2021, and while we have no idea what the plot will be, we’re sure to see lots of action and great set pieces as usual.

It’s safe to say that 2020 wasn’t kind to Twilight fans. The franchise went from strength to strength and not a day went by when we didn’t hear about a new casting announcement or a new trailer. It seemed as if the entire cast was getting paired off together. It wasn’t until the very end of the year that we finally got some good news when Taylor Lautner called the writers of the series to say that they weren’t paired off after all and that he was still available for the role of Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) love interest, Edward Cullen. The news that Taylor was available to play Cullen was soon followed by the even better news that he had already been cast. It seems that Taylor Lautner and co-star Robert Pattinson had developed a rapport while filming, and Summit Entertainment decided to make the best of the situation by pairing them together for a spin-off series. The Midnight Sun will be released on September 15th, and it will no doubt be another great addition to the ever-growing Twilight film franchise.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of The Twilight Saga. Not only do I enjoy the films and the source material, but I also really love the atmosphere that Summit Entertainment creates. I think that it’s a franchise that’s truly underrated, and I’m always happy to see it do so well. As a result, I was pretty excited when I heard about Summit’s plans for another Twilight movie. Wouldn’t it be incredible if they could top what they did in 2016?

Thankfully, Summit granted my wish and brought my favorite character from the Twilight Saga to life in a brand-new way. In honor of the 10th anniversary of Twilight, they decided to have Jimmy Fallon cast a special guest star to portray Edward Cullen for one hour. The result is Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, a series that sees the host interviewing various celebrities that were directly or indirectly involved with the making of the new film or series. We’re going to be posting more information about the series and its stars as it becomes available, so be sure to stay tuned to this blog or follow us on Twitter @Hollywood_Moves for all the latest news about this exciting new series!

Robert Pattinson

Speaking of exciting new series, it’s time to reveal the identity of the actor that was recently cast in Wick: Chapter Two. This is going to be one of the biggest movies of the year and it’s no surprise that it’s receiving such great reviews. Not only does it continue the story of the John Wick franchise, but it also marks the first collaboration between director and actor, Denis O’Hare and Robert Pattinson. O’Hare was responsible for the fantastic Spiderman: Into the Night, which also starred Robert Pattinson. In that movie, he plays a friendly, neighborhood Spiderman who helps out a fellow superhero (played by Chris Evans) who just so happens to be the actor’s friend. O’Hare was also one of the directors behind The Incredible Jessica James, and it was through this movie that he and Evans became friends. So, it’s no wonder that they were both available when this project came up and it’s great to see them work together.

As for Robert Pattinson, he’s had a banner year and it’s been an incredible journey for him. Not only did he find time to star in two major films that were both box-office smashes, but he also landed the part of Edward Cullen in the highly anticipated sequel, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Naturally, this was followed by a third film in the franchise, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. Naturally.

But it seems like the best is yet to come. We have a hunch that next year is going to be an incredible year for the British actor. Not only is he set to star in the highly anticipated sequel to The Fate of the Furious, he’s also got the part of Sherlock Holmes in The Game, a brand-new TV series that will star Robert Downey, Jr. It’s also worth noting that the Sherlock Holmes portion of the show will be set in the modern day, which is why we’re sure to see Downey, Jr. in traditional Sherlock Holmes attire. For those of you who aren’t familiar, Robert Downey, Jr. is best known for playing Tony Stark in the Iron Man films. He’s also appeared in the Spiderman films and is set to star in the upcoming Disney+ series, The House of Gucci.

Ultimately, it’s been an incredible year for Robert Pattinson and it’s only the beginning. We’re looking forward to seeing what the next decade has in store for this talented actor.

Taylor Lautner

If you’re a huge fan of the Twilight Saga, then you’ll likely be very happy to hear that Robert Pattinson is still available to star in the planned sequel to the series. It seems that Taylor Lautner, who starred as Jacob in Twilight, had also developed a rapport with the actor while filming, so much so that they decided to collaborate on a series. This is very exciting news for Twilighters, as it means that they can look forward to more Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) on-screen antics. It also means that they won’t have to settle for one film every five years like they did with Taylor and co-star Dakota Johnson.

The Midnight Sun is set for release on September 15th and it will mark the first time that we’ve seen Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner work together. We’re excited to see what happens when these two incredibly talented actors finally get the chance to star in a movie together. It’s going to be a fantastic showcase for both their talents and for the entire Twilight film series. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more information about this exciting new series in the coming months.
