Marriage Has Changed Us For The Better
Since we got married, I have noticed a marked difference in myself. I am calmer, more relaxed, and generally a much happier person. Even though we have our ups and downs, which we always have as a couple, I feel like I am finally able to show my true colors. I don’t feel like I have to hide who I am or what I believe in because of what is expected of me as a wife. I am able to be myself, which I think is such a compliment. It is also one of the things that attracted me to my husband in the first place – he is such a stand-up guy.
The Most Memorable Day Of Our Lives
It is hard to put into words what the most memorable day of our lives was like. After years of dreaming about it, we finally got to enjoy an amazing wedding ceremony at St George’s, our local English church. Since we are both musical, we decided to include our favorite songs in the ceremony. Not only did it give us a chance to express ourselves creatively, but it also made the day so much more special. The priest walked down the aisle to “Smile” by Pink, which is one of our favorite songs to begin with, and even more so since it is the wedding song of one of our best friends. It was an incredible moment. Walking down the aisle to your favorite song is something no one should ever have to do, but it is also an ideal way to end the wedding ceremony. We will cherish these moments forever.
Our Love Story
My husband and I first met nearly eight years ago on a blind date. It was actually set up by one of my cousins, who was friends with his brother. I thought he was such a sweetheart, and I found him charming and funny. He swept me off my feet, and I was truly captivated by his charm and wit. We started talking regularly, and after a few months, he asked me out on a proper date. It was an incredible evening, and from there we just couldn’t keep our hands off each other. We eventually decided to move in together, and although it wasn’t an easy decision, it has been the best one we have ever made. Being with my husband is the best decision I have ever made, and I am so happy to have found him.
