There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Robert Pattinson and Batman. The two actors have been seen around London together on a number of occasions, and most recently they were spotted at the movies. It looks like Robert Pattinson is playing Batman, and if so, it could be one of the most interesting casting announcements of all time. Is it really Batman though? Let’s take a look.

The Evidence

There is a lot of evidence that points to Robert Pattinson playing Batman. First off, the actors are both from the UK. Secondly, they both share a passion for baseball and have both been spotted wearing jerseys from the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs. Thirdly, both actors are known for their eccentricities and dramatic flair. Finally, Robert Pattinson’s dad, David, plays Batman on the small screen, so the actor himself probably has a good sense of what it is like to play the role. There is also a lot of talk that the reason Robert Pattinson was chosen for the role is because he resembles Batman’s arch-nemesis, The Joker.

The Verdict

Whether or not you believe that Robert Pattinson is playing Batman, there is no denying that this is one of the most interesting casting announcements in recent memory. It would be a shame to not see this play out on the big screen, especially since Robert Pattinson’s dad is quite literally playing the role on TV. The only way this could get any more intriguing is if Michael Caine, who played Alfred in the Dark Knight trilogy, also played the butler. We will just have to wait and see what happens next. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait.
