Is Robert Pattinson, the 25-year-old British actor, single or is he doing the horizontal mambo with his co-star from the new Twilight movie, Kristen Stewart?
The answer is yes, according to our sources. And while the couple keep a low profile, they’ve been spending a lot of time together in and out of the limelight.
Pattinson recently wrapped filming on the third installment of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, which hits theaters November 16, 2011.
The couple has been linked together since 2010, after Pattinson started dating Stewart following the Twilight movie’s premiere. Since then, they’ve been inseparable.
They were often spotted holding hands or kissing each other in public. And though Stewart’s representatives have repeatedly denied that she is engaged or even dating anyone, the couple seems to be very much in love.
Is He Actually Marrying Her?
After dating for nearly two years, there was no question that Stewart and Pattinson were committed to each other. They’ve even exchanged rings. So when Media Life Magazine asked whether the two were actually engaged, we were a little surprised by the response. (See their response below.)
“If you must know, no,” Pattinson said. “But she keeps giving me such lovely jewelry, so I don’t know what’s going on.”
Even when Stewart’s reps started denying that she was dating anyone, saying that she was just friends with Pattinson, we still didn’t really believe them. But after they collaborated on a fashion-related project, they both signed affidavits saying that they were indeed a couple. Since then, they’ve been inseparable.
What Will This Mean For The Twilight Saga?
While we’re happy for Stewart and Pattinson, this new layer of meaning to the Twilight saga is really tragic. After being burned by one of her previous relationships, will Stewart be willing to open her heart to romance again?
“If anything, this will hopefully stop the rumors that she is single,” one source told us. “It’ll be good to have something to tell her friends when they ask about her love life.”
It seems like Stewart and Pattinson are made for each other. Based on their chemistry in the movies, it’s clear that they have a real connection. Whether they end up together in real life remains to be seen.
