In case you didn’t know, Kristen Stewart is dating Robert Pattinson. And if you need more evidence than the fact that they seem to be attached at the hip these days, then consider this: Kristen Stewart is the daughter of Donald and Debi Stewart, and Robert Pattinson is the son of Elizabeth and Timothy Pattinson. Oh, and did we mention that Kristen Stewart is gay?

While it’s been quite the opposite up until now, where Robert Pattinson has gone from being notoriously private to being open about his love for Kristen Stewart, we’ve now entered a phase where he’s trying to keep a low profile. And while there’s little to no information available about how he really feels about her coming out, we can still put together a list of things he’s said that suggest he doesn’t approve of her sexuality.

He Never Talks About It

One of the most interesting things about Robert Pattinson is that he’s never really talked about his personal life, especially since his girlfriend became more public than his ex-girlfriends. And if you actually track down what he’s said about Stewart, he’s pretty cryptic. When asked about the rumors that he and Kristen Stewart are an item, he simply stated:

“I don’t discuss my private life, and I don’t think Kristen would either.”

This isn’t to say that there haven’t been any leaks. Far from it. People talk about things they shouldn’t, and sadly, some of those things end up being true. But as much as we might want to know what’s going on behind the scenes, Robert Pattinson is a very private person, and I think that’s something to be admired.

He Likes To Be In The Background

One of the interesting things about Robert Pattinson is how he likes to exist behind the scenes, rather than in the spotlight. When he does make an appearance, he’s usually the photo-op type of celebrity, and he certainly doesn’t do many interviews, especially not ones that go deeper than what you’d read about him in the tabloids. When it comes to talking about his personal life, he’s usually only opened up about the most basic information.

“I want to keep my private life as private as possible,” he said in 2015. “I’ve always tried to keep things low-profile and not let my personal life get in the way of my acting.”

This is one of the things that might make him a bit jealous of Kevin Spacey. While Kevin Spacey has gone on record as saying that he’s happy to be in the public eye, Robert Pattinson doesn’t seem all that interested in the spotlight. Or at least, he doesn’t seem interested in letting the world know about his personal life. And it’s not like he has much to say about anything else. As talented as he is, he really only has one thing going for him: his incredible looks. And it seems like he’s trying to keep that a secret as well.

The Rumors Are Real

It wouldn’t be a true reflection of Robert Pattinson if we didn’t at least discuss the fact that there have been some pretty shocking rumors regarding him and Kristen Stewart. Some of the more prominent ones include:

  • They spent a whole night together and had real sex. The next day they went on a hike and Robert called his friends to let them know what happened.
  • They went on a double date with their respective ex-girlfriends. One of the dates was with a guy named Aaron Taylor-Johnston. He’s a professional gambler and an accomplished poker player.
  • Robert Pattinson allegedly sent Kristen Stewart an emoji with a smiley face and a tongue tied in a knot. We should point out that this last one is completely made up and was started by a Russian troll who tweeted it at Robert Pattinson in 2017.

Even if most of these rumors aren’t true (and we have no idea if any of them are), they still stand as a testament to the intense interest that exists in Robert Pattinson’s personal life. It’s one thing to want to know what’s going on with your favorite celebrity’s dating life. It’s another thing to desperately want to know what’s going on with your ex’s current love life. And as much as we might like to think that our curiosity doesn’t matter, the fact is that it probably does. Especially if Robert Pattinson is trying to keep his personal life as private as possible.

So it would seem that Robert Pattinson doesn’t approve of Kristen Stewart’s coming out. And considering that he’s the father of a lesbian, it’s not all that shocking that he wouldn’t. However, what’s weird is that for all his private nature, he has also managed to keep many of the rumors about himself and Kristen Stewart afloat. And considering that most of his fans aren’t that interested in what happens behind the scenes, it’s not like he stands to gain from opening up about it.

He’s Probably Not That Into BDSM

It wouldn’t be a true reflection of Robert Pattinson if we didn’t discuss the fact that he’s probably not that into BDSM. When it comes to kinky sex and S&M, he’s more of a front-facing type, rather than a behind-the-scenes type. When he does have some kinky sex scenes in the films he’s in, it’s usually for the purpose of titillation rather than anything deeper. He didn’t join SCORPIO in its quest for BDSM supremacy because he really wanted to explore those pleasures, but he did it because he thought it would be a way to further his film career. And that seems to be the case with many other celebrities as well. It’s nothing personal against BDSM, per se, but it’s important to keep in mind that it’s not a pursuit that most celebrities will openly admit to.

Gay Or Not

Finally, we can’t leave this topic without talking about the big question: is Robert Pattinson gay or not? To be honest, we have no idea. He’s never really talked about it, and he doesn’t seem all that interested in doing so. So it’s hard to say. He could very well be, but he could also be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and we’d have no idea. Of course, there’s also the possibility that he’s simply trying to keep his personal life private. Who knows?

But what we do know is that when it comes to his love life, he’s very, very private. And considering that his girlfriend is more prominent than his exes, it would seem that he’s trying to keep a low profile when it comes to the subject.

Hopefully, we’ll learn more about how Robert Pattinson feels about Kristen Stewart once he comes out of his current low-profile status. Or at least, once he decides to speak about it. We can hope.
