Robert Pattinson is one of the most well-known faces in Hollywood, starring in the wildly popular Twilight series, as well as numerous other films and series. He’s also the boyfriend of Taylor Swift, with whom he enjoys a very public, well-documented, celebrity-studded love story.

While these two famous individuals could seemingly have it all, their personal lives aren’t without their problems. The pair have had their share of fights and issues to deal with, stemming from both personal and professional matters. However, they seem to have found a happy medium, and have continued to work through their relationship issues and continue to be a shining light for any couple who may be struggling.

While their personal life may be out of this world, Pattinson’s foray into the world of comic books isn’t so exciting. The British actor starred in two films directed by Guillermo del Toro: The Necromancer and Quentin Tarantulinu’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Neither of which are particularly notable. His most recent comic book role was in the poorly-received Aquaman, where he played Arthur’s half-brother, Jason.

If there’s one role that Pattinson is truly proud of, it’s that of Batman. The British actor has described the experience of portraying the Dark Knight in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the upcoming Justice League as “amazing.” In fact, he named his favorite character after the Dark Knight, “Bats.”

So, while it might not seem like it now, but once upon a time, Robert Pattinson didn’t have it all. He had some professional setbacks, he had some fights with Taylor Swift, and he even played a comic book character for a couple of movies that never came out.

But now, the 34-year-old actor seems to have found a place in Hollywood. He’s starred in some of the greatest films of our time and continued to find ways to impress with each new role. He even has his own action figure, which I personally find extremely hard to believe. But, back to my original point: while Taylor Swift may have stolen the spotlight for a bit, Robert Pattinson is certainly living his best life.
