It’s been a long time coming, but Hollywood’s most fashionable couple are finally tying the knot! After 15 years of dating, Robert Pattinson and his wife, Suki Waterhouse, exchanged vows at London’s Westminster Abbey on December 6, 2019.

The actress took to Instagram after the ceremony to share a behind-the-scenes look at the big day.

“Wedding Sunday! So happy to have shared this special day with my husband @robpattinson and our family and friends,” Suki wrote.

“We had so much fun putting the rehearsal day together, and even more fun on the wedding day itself,” she continued, revealing that the couple had chosen to walk down the aisle to Cold Play’s “Yellow”.

“It was such a magical moment when Rob and I first danced to this song as a couple. Now we’re sharing it with our friends and family,” Suki said, sharing an Instagram story filled with joyful moments from the big day.

Wedding Favors

Suki also shared some wedding favors–including an adorable letter to the future couple from her parents–with her followers on social media.

“So pleased to have given these beautiful favors to our guests,” she wrote. “They were such a hit with our guests and we can’t wait to give them out to future generations! Thank you, Dad and Mum, for such a special present. Rob and I love you both so much.”

Suki’s parents, Peter and Polly Waterhouse, gifted the actress with a gorgeous diamond watch as wedding favors, People reports. The couple’s choice of present is certainly a sweet and personal gesture, considering they are best friends with the future king and queen of England, Prince William and Catherine.

The lavish celebration was filled with A-list guests, including Emily Blunt, Charlotte Riley, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Guests were also treated to a performance by the British music duo, Years & Years, which composed the music for the film “Downton Abbey.”

A Fairy-tale Wedding

On Thursday, December 5, Suki tweeted an image of her “wedding dress,” which she claimed had been designed by Oscar de la Renta.

“I don’t have a single doubt that this is the most beautiful dress I’ve ever worn,” she wrote alongside the photo. “Thank you so much, @oscardelarenta, for making me feel like a goddess.”

The gorgeous dress–which she accessorized with a diamond necklace and matching set of earrings–was part of a pre-wedding collection the designer created especially for the actress. Oscar de la Renta also decorated the altar with orchids, eucalyptus, and olive branches, in honor of the couple’s Greek heritage.

Suki and her designer were clearly having fun with the wedding preparations, as they kept the hashtag “#Oscardelarenta”–starring her in a goddess-like pose–trending on Twitter throughout December.

Honeymoon In Italy

After the wedding, Suki and Rob went on a honeymoon trip to Italy. The couple enjoyed a sunset cruise on the Nile River, which they shared on their social media accounts.

“Just looked out of the window and felt the sun on my skin. Just wanted to soak it in and remember the feeling,” Suki wrote, sharing a photo on Instagram of the couple smiling in front of the majestic pyramids near Cairo. “It was the most incredible honeymoon. We couldn’t stop talking about it. It was perfect.”

They returned to Britain on December 11 and spent the following few days enjoying a quiet anniversary with friends and family. However, the couple is already beginning to show off their new married life, as they attended premieres for the 2019 movie “Maiden’s Vengeance” and the Penny Dreadful season two premiere in London on December 17.

The actress looked radiant as she entered the Odeon cinema for the premiere of “Maiden’s Vengeance,” which tells the story of an heiress who travels to Italy in the early 1800s to claim the throne. As it turned out, the heiress was not the most suitable candidate for the job, which was eventually taken by Queen Victoria.

Suki sported a stunning white dress with gold accents as she accompanied her husband to the premiere. The couple also attended the premiere of Penny Dreadful season two, which was also held at the Odeon cinema. However, Suki was there representing her production company, Spring Breeze, which she co-founded with actor Johnny Depp. The company is currently in post-production on a documentary about the making of the 2017 film, which was executive-produced by Depp and Watership Society founder Mark Waron.

An Active Social Media Life

Suki has always been very active on social media, mostly sharing images of her designer clothes and luxurious lifestyle. However, she has also become a prominent voice on environmental issues, and she actively promotes sustainable and green living through her social media accounts.

“Being in a film production means that you have to be very respectful of your environment,” she said at a press conference ahead of the premiere of “Maiden’s Vengeance.” “It’s something that’s very important to me, and as designers we have a huge impact on the environment so it’s really important that we are conscious of that.”

The actress has repeatedly spoken out against online trolling, particularly after witnessing cyberbullying firsthand while on set. In a 2018 interview with Elle, she discussed the dangers of social media, and how she tries to protect herself from online harassers.

“I feel like I need to protect my family whenever I can,” she said. “When you’re on a movie set, you’re in a bubble, which is great because you get to enjoy your work and not worry about the repercussions of what you’re saying, but I feel like it can also be dangerous because you don’t know who’s watching. So, I would hide my phone when I’m on set, and I would definitely monitor what’s being said about me on social media.”

An Enthusiastic Audience

Not only is Suki Waterhouse married to one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, but she is also the daughter of a famous English photographer. Thus, it should come as no surprise that her wedding was attended by many notable figures from the worlds of art and fashion. Indeed, it seems that even Prince Charles was moved to comment on the ceremony, noting that he and his son, Prince William, “heartily congratulated” the couple.

Whether or not the Duke of Edinburgh attended the wedding, the audience that did show up was quite the one! The bride looked radiant as she led her husband down the aisle, while the future king and queen of England watched proudly from the front row.

Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson are undoubtedly a fashionable couple, and their wedding was a testament to their bond as well as their design prowess. The actress wore a white dress adorned with gold accents, while the ceremony was officiated by a reverend. Suki is likely to continue on this creative path, having founded a fashion house with her husband, while also maintaining a busy schedule as an actress.
