I can still remember the awe I felt the first time I walked into New York Comic Con and saw all the stars and all the cosplayers. As a fourteen-year-old kid, I never thought I’d get the chance to meet my favorite writers and artists. But here we are, over a decade later, and I’m still meeting and hanging out with a lot of the people I met back in 2007.

Robert Pattinson’s Upcoming Schedule

Now that Twilight is over, I wanted to know what was going on in Robert Pattinson’s schedule. Up until now, we didn’t know if he was going to keep working within the theater world or make a full transition to the film world. Well, the wait is over; we can finally see what projects Robert is working on next. Thanks to some leaked information, we know that he will be appearing in both a live-action film and an animated film.

Live-Action Film

The live-action film gig is still a desirable one, and Robert seems to be taking advantage of this. Over the past year, we’ve seen several prominent roles for him, including John Brown in The Lost Honour of Christopher Cole, King George in The King, and Mr. Nobody in Donnie Darko.

Animated Film

I love Disney animated films, and Robert is proving to be a skilled and versatile actor who is willing to branch out of his comfort zone. In 2018, he will star in the upcoming Toy Story 4 alongside Tim Allen, Bonnie Hunt, and John Ratzenberger. After that, he will voice a character in the Little Mermaid Animated Series alongside Ariel, Eric, and Prince Eric.

What’s Coming Up Next?

Based on his 2018 schedule, here’s a look at some of the projects Robert has lined up. I included a brief description of each one along with a link to their website or IMDB page so you can learn more if interested.

An Evening With…Robert Pattinson

On September 27, 2018, it was announced that Robert would be performing at the Edinburgh International Book festival. Tickets for this event sold out within minutes. This is probably the closest thing to a Comic Con that we will get to see Robert Pattinson perform live. Tickets for this event sold out within minutes. I’m really looking forward to this performance, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend.

Robert Pattinson at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is one of the premiere venues for new films and talent. In past years, it has showcased some of the biggest names in film and music. In 2019, TIFF will once again host famous guests and offer a platform for upcoming talent. One of the biggest guests this year is Robert Pattinson. His appearance was announced in June, and tickets for this event sold out within minutes. On September 11, just two days before the festival, news broke that Robert would not be attending TIFF because of “unforeseen circumstances,” which could possibly mean a scheduling conflict. The last-minute substitution is Robert Pattinson’s directorial debut, and it’s one of the most highly anticipated indie films of the year. It’s unclear if he will make it to the Toronto International Film Festival in the end, but it seems unlikely considering the film’s anticipation.

Robert Pattinson’s Upcoming Concerts

Now that we know Robert will be performing at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, we can look forward to seeing him on stage again. He is also scheduled to appear at the Glorious Music Summer festival in Scotland in 2019. In the U.S., Robert will be performing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April and at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute gala in May 2019.

Conclusion

So, as you can see above, Robert has a packed schedule lined up for the rest of this year. I’m really looking forward to seeing him on stage. I’m also a huge fan of his work, and it’s always an honor to meet and talk to him about his craft. I think he will continue to be a major player in the movie industry for many years to come.
