At the age of 70, Jones is one of the industry’s most loved and admired stars. In 2016, she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as the Cecil B. DeMille Award. She has also been named one of the most beautiful women in the world by Vanity Fair. Jones shares her love for fashion with fans on social media, often posting about her favourite designers and new collections.
Meanwhile, Portman is one of the most versatile and admired actresses in Hollywood. With roles in prestigious films such as Black Swan and House of Gucci, the Italian gownswoman has won over audiences with her versatility and charm. In 2015, Forbes listed Portman as the third highest-paid actress in Hollywood, earning an estimated $19.5 million. She’s since followed up with a starring role in Black Widow, earning her another shot at fame and fortune.
Donald Trump vs. Robert Pattinson
No discussion of Hollywood’s powerhouses would be complete without mentioning the rivalry between Donald Trump and Robert Pattinson. When it comes to fame, fortune and beauty, these two are in a league of their own. While they’re both famous for their good looks, it’s Pattinson’s celebrity that puts him head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. Despite his success, the 28-year-old actor remains relatively unknown to many, especially in the United States. That is, until now.
From the very beginning, this powerful couple knew exactly what they were doing when they decided to pit their talents against one another. After debuting as vampires in the 2004 horror flick Underworld, they went on to star in several more films together, including 2009’s comedy Safety Not Guaranteed. As their partnership grew, so did their rivalry – becoming one of Hollywood’s most legendary love/hate relationships.
While their on-screen chemistry was undeniable, it was hard for fans to get a clear picture of what was going on behind the scenes. That is, up until now. Over the last year, they’ve both opened up about their complex relationship in interviews and on social media. Most recently, they starred in the highly anticipated horror movie, The Dark Crystal. Kristen Stewart vs. Jackie Chan
Forbes has valued Stewart’s net worth at $30 million, and it’s easy to see why. The Twilight star has become one of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood, starring in prestigious blockbusters such as The Grand Budapest Hotel and the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Stewart has also graced the covers of major magazines, such as Vanity Fair and GQ. This summer, she’ll star in the comedy-drama Hard To Kill, then will be seen in the action film Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle alongside Chris Pratt.
While Stewart’s career is going pretty well, her personal life has been marred by controversy. Last year, she filed for divorce from Twilight co-star, Taylor Lautner. They had been married for just over a year when they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy. Lautner was subsequently banned from Facebook for violating the social media network’s community standards. This wasn’t Stewart’s only run-in with the law; she was arrested in Paris in 2014 for drug possession – a charge she denied. The Arresting Roommate star also had to deal with an embarrassing paparazzi incident in 2015, when she was caught in a compromising position (read: naked, with a dog) with actor Stephen Merchant. She has been linked to several notable celebrities, including Chan, with whom she has a three-year-old son, Cyprian. Since then, it’s fair to say that Stewart’s private life has not been nearly as interesting as her public one. Still, she has managed to keep fame and fortune in her marriage to Chan – despite their tumultuous beginnings. So, she’s not short of advice when it comes to attracting a wealthy partner.
Hollywood might be used to seeing the rich and famous paired up with the famous and rich, but it has rarely seen three powerhouses of this calibre unite against one another.
