Many fans were left disappointed when the upcoming DC film, Batman vs. Joker, was announced without featuring the spectacular, Oscar-winning musical score that was in the trailer.
The film’s director, Matt Reeves, addressed the issue in an interview with Ungodly Amounts of Movies, saying that although he wanted to include more songs, the move from a trailer to a theatrical release meant he couldn’t.
“In terms of the songs, there were a few moments… I certainly wanted to include more… but the goal with the trailer is to get a reaction. To see how the songs affect the narrative and vice versa. So we will see how it all fits together.”
While the soundtrack won’t feature traditional songs from the 1950s and 1960s, such as “Earth Angel,” Batman vs. Joker will feature an eclectic mix of tunes from more recent decades, including songs by Kendrick Lamar, Sia, and Ed Sheeran.
Lamborghini And A Grand Tour
Although Batman vs. Joker doesn’t officially come out until 2021, we know from previous interviews and movie set photos that it will star Robert Pattinson as the iconic superhero. The actor has already made a daring escape from the limelight by posting a mysterious image on his Instagram on July 24, teasing the release of a new movie.
Whether or not Pattinson’s mysterious project will become a reality remains to be seen, but in the meantime, he’s taking the opportunity to explore Europe in style. The actor was recently spotted in a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ driving a Rolls-Royce Wraith around Italy. He also took the time to stop by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and take a dip in the pool. What could this mean for Batman vs. Joker? Perhaps the film will see Pattinson’s Batman driving a flashy sports car or swimming in a spacious pool, like his comic book counterpart.
An Opportunity To Travel In Style
Not only is Italy one of the most beautiful countries in the world, but it also happens to be the birthplace of pizza. It would be a shame to let such beauty go to waste, so it’s a must for anyone traveling there to visit as many of the great museums as possible.
“There is so much more to see in Milan than just the obvious artwork,” Pattinson wrote on Instagram. “The buildings are spectacular and there are lots of little hidden gems, as well as the great museums that will keep an art enthusiast occupied for hours.”
Art lovers will have the chance to feast their eyes on the greatest works of art from the Renaissance to the present day. From Leonardo da Vinci’s work on the Mona Lisa to Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss,” the city is full of fantastic museums that are definitely not to be missed. Visiting one of these museums is a must for any trip to Milan.
An Opportunity To Visit Great British Museums
If you’re visiting Milan and have the chance to spend a day or more there, be sure to take the time to check out the Museo del Mago (Magic Museum). Located in the Brera district of Milan, this museum houses a collection of magical items that were used in the films of Christopher Nolan. In fact, if you’ve ever seen the Dark Knight trilogy, you may have seen one of the items from this collection. The museum also has a collection of props from the Harry Potter series.
Also located in Milan is the Museo del Comic Book. This museum houses an impressive collection of comic books and movie props from the 1960s to the present day. You’ll also find costumes and set pieces worn by celebrities in films and TV shows, as well as books and memorabilia from the greats of the industry. There are also a few interactive elements on display, such as a motion-sensitive floor that you can activate by walking across it.
Milan is certainly a city that doesn’t shy away from the luxurious side of life. You’ll find luxury brands scattered around the city center, as well as a few high-end restaurants and cafes. One of the best places to eat in Milan is Al Baida. The restaurant serves traditional Arabic cuisine and offers a beautiful garden view.
A Visit To Venice Is On The Cards
Another city that Pattinson could be visiting is Venice. The actor is a big fan of Venice, which is reflected in the fact that he owns a luxury mansion located in the city. He also had a private performance for fans at La Fenice in Venice, which is one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world. You may be familiar with Venice from its numerous canals. The city is definitely rich in history, and is currently home to over 150 galleries and museums. If you’ve never been there, here’s a good opportunity to change that.
“Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and not just because it’s water-related,” Pattinson said in a video posted to Instagram earlier this year. “There is an incredible amount of history to see, as well as a fantastic opera house that I plan to visit.”
It seems that Venice is a city that Pattinson could visit anytime he likes. He also owns a gallery there, which he opened in 2016 to celebrate the release of the film Never Let Me Go. It’s clear that Venice is something of a hobby for the actor, and it would be a shame to not see more of it. After all, this is a city that has a grand piano sitting in the middle of a pizza restaurant.
It’s been a while since our last update, but as you may have guessed, it hasn’t all been work. In fact, the last few months have seen the actor spending a lot of time on his hobbies, including cooking, gardening, and travel. Since returning from the Cannes Film Festival, where he was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in The Lighthouse, Pattinson has kept busy with various projects. Most notably, he starred in the highly anticipated adaptation of William Gibson’s Surface Detail, opposite Lily James and Kate Hudson. We were lucky enough to be invited to attend a special screening of this movie, which was followed by an audience Q&A with the cast and crew. While the movie itself is wonderful, it’s clear that Gibson’s novel will remain a highlight of Pattinson’s filmography.
An Opportunity To Visit Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Studio
In addition to all the great museums and galleries that Milan and Venice have to offer, visitors to these cities have the chance to make a rare visit to Leonardo Da Vinci’s last studio in the country of Italy. Located in the city of Vinci, not far from Florence, the studio is now a museum. It was here that Da Vinci worked on his last drawing before his death in 1519. While some may balk at the prospect of visiting a museum, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Da Vinci’s work is still so impressive that it’s worth visiting his last resting place just to see it. Sadly, this studio is now closed to the public, but any fan of Leonardo Da Vinci’s work certainly won’t want to miss this opportunity.
An Opportunity To Visit Stone Henge
If you’ve never heard of Stone Henge, you may well wonder what it is. Simply put, it’s a megalithic monument that was built more than 6,000 years ago. The site features two large standing stones that are over 20 feet tall. The structure’s original purpose is unknown, but it has long been considered sacred by Neolithic peoples. Today, the site is free and open to the public and is located on the Heritage coast in England. The surrounding beaches are beautiful and feature stretches of dry land perfect for a picnic.
There’s a lot more to see in England than just Stone Henge. There are castles, for example, that you can visit, including Windsor Castle and Leeds Castle, which is where you’ll find the famous Harry Potter movie set. These structures are not only interesting museums, but they’re also magnificent works of art and it’s a shame to not see more of them.
Traveling In Style
A self-confessed ‘crafty bastard’, Pattinson is certainly not one to shy away from luxury. While he’s not necessarily averse to a bit of a rough patch (as evidenced by his various tattoos), the British actor is more than happy to indulge in his hobbies. The desire to explore Europe, which he mentioned in the previous two paragraphs, seems to reflect this. His love for all things crafty is clear in the many projects he’s been involved with over the years, including his love of baking (as evidenced by his Instagram account).
