Some of you may know that before Emma Watson accepted the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, she had already modeled for a lingerie company in France. That’s right – Emma Watson is a fashionista! She loves clothes and styles, and she even has a collection of luxury accessories that she wears often. But let’s be real – who doesn’t like to fantasize about being in Harry Potter’s shoes?

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll no doubt remember that at the very end of the Deathly Hallows, when Harry and company are escaping from Voldemort and his army of Death Eaters, they come across Horace Slughorn, who greets them at the top of a flight of stairs. Slughorn is carrying a violin, and he invites Harry and his friends to join him while he plays for them. If you’ve seen the movie more than once, you may have noticed that Slughorn isn’t exactly the best violin player in the world – he’s actually quite bad!

Well, it seems that Mr. Slughorn wasn’t exactly being honest with Harry, because after the concert, he praises Harry’s skills and offers him a place in his magical school – the House of Fine Arts. Naturally, Harry accepts the offer, and in the process, learns a valuable lesson about having confidence in himself.

Does Robert Pattinson Think Alex Trebek Is Funny?

A few months ago, I wrote an article about how Robert Pattinson feels about Sherlock Holmes. In that article, I pointed out that one of the movies that Mr. Pattinson had recently starred in was titled, The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes. So it only made sense that when he was asked about his thoughts on Alex Trebek, the host of Jeopardy!, he would bring up that film.

Does Mr. Pattinson think that Mr. Trebek is funny? Let’s take a look:

Mr. Pattinson was born and raised in England, and he studied at the University of Cambridge. So, it’s clear that he’s kind of a smart guy. But does he think that Mr. Trebek is funny? Let’s take a look:

While Mr. Pattinson was in England, he had a chance to see Mr. Trebek host Jeopardy! and have an interview with him. So he actually knows that Mr. Trebek is funny because he’s heard him say jokes and seen him crack jokes. (I wonder if he remembers the time that Mr. Trebek called him a “mutton-headed English mutt.” That’s pretty funny!) But still, does he think that Mr. Trebek is funny? Here’s what Mr. Pattinson had to say:

No, He Doesn’t Think Alex Trebek Is Funny

“Never have I ever heard or seen him be funny,” Mr. Pattinson said. “It’s all very strange to me that people would want to portray him as funny. He’s certainly not that to me. I’ve never found him funny. He is always very serious and intense when doing interviews or speaking to groups, especially when he asks difficult questions about literature or history or anything like that.”

So there you have it. According to Mr. Pattinson, Alex Trebek is not funny. It’s strange because Mr. Trebek is known for being very witty, and he often says funny things during his interviews. But Mr. Pattinson wasn’t exactly a fan. He’s actually been in a few interviews where he mentioned how great it is that Jeopardy! is a game that can be watched by children. (Don’t worry, Harry Potter fans – he still thinks that Sherlock Holmes is funny!)

Why Is Robert Pattinson Confused About Sherlock Holmes?

It’s no secret that Robert Pattinson is a bit of a fan of Sherlock Holmes, and he even named his band after the great detective. But as I mentioned in my other article, he has some pretty strong opinions about Sherlock Holmes – mostly negative. He thinks that Sherlock Holmes is pretentious and not a very nice guy. So why is he so confused about Sherlock Holmes? Let’s take a look:

One of the reasons is that back in the 1800s, Sherlock Holmes was a genuine genius when it came to solving crimes. And although he didn’t have any official training as a detective, he was an excellent amateur who learned from his own mistakes and made up for his lack of formal education by applying his amazing brain to figuring out criminal cases. (If you’ve ever seen the TV show, Elementary, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about!) So for some people, Sherlock Holmes is still considered a genius, and to this day, he’s still the most popular English detective of all time.

Unfortunately for Mr. Pattinson, these days, Sherlock Holmes’ amazing brain doesn’t work quite as fast anymore. In fact, he makes a lot of embarrassing mistakes. For example, he’ll incorrectly identify someone, give the wrong address for the wrong person, or say something like, “Elementary, my dear Watson,” when he’s supposed to be saying “Baker Street.”

Most people in real life would be insulted if you called them a “genius,” but for some reason, Sherlock Holmes is still considered to be a genius by a lot of people. And as I mentioned above, it’s mostly due to the great detective’s amazing brain that made him so popular in the first place. So if you’re a Sherlock Holmes fan and you want to show your support for the great detective, why not wear a mustache and call yourself Sherlock Holmes? That’s what Mr. Pattinson suggested – and maybe it’s time for Mr. Trebek to grow a mustache and take up the detective’s trade again.
