Many fans were ecstatic when it was announced that @thekingscourt and @robertpattinson would be joining forces to make Kiss Kiss happen. The love story between these two famous faces was certainly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Disney fans. But, just like every other story involving the House of Mouse, details about the movie’s wedding plans came to light and fans were left wondering whether or not they were true.
The Wedding
When the cast of Kiss Kiss were asked about the status of the wedding, they had some pretty interesting things to say. First up, Nikki Reed, who plays Bella in the movie, said she wouldn’t rule it out completely. “I think it’s pretty likely,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m definitely not worried about it. I think it’s such an incredible gift to be given an engagement ring by someone you love. And I know that Robert loves me, so it would be such a magical moment if we were to get engaged.” When asked about wedding plans, Robert Pattinson had this to say: “It’s not actually happening,” he joked. “I mean, the wedding thing was quite exciting, wasn’t it? Kind of like a fairy tale. I would love to do that, it would be such an incredible adventure. But, we’re not actually getting married. I don’t know why we said that. It was just really exciting to hear that everyone thought that we were going to get married. But, I don’t know, I don’t think it’s going to happen.”
Wedding Rings
It’s no secret that the couple has been talking wedding bells for a while now. Back in April 2017, a rumor surfaced that the couple had chosen celebrity jewelers @clarisoniclasso to design their engagement ring and wedding ring. Well, it was true. According to reports, the designer visited the couple’s home and spent an intimate evening with them in which they revealed their big plans and showcased their exquisite taste. As a result of this visit, Clarisoniclasso designed two rings that would become an iconic symbol of their romance. The first ring features a diamond that weighs in at a massive 1.5 carats and is etched with a subtle message written in platinum.
The second ring is even more impressive. It features a 7.5 carat blue-hued diamond that is flanked by diamonds measuring 3.5 and 1.5 carats. Additionally, a diamond weighs in at 4 carats. Both rings are set in 18k yellow gold and are mounted on a band that also features three diamonds, one weighing in at 2 carats. If you want to add a little polish to your nails, you can’t do much better than these lovely gems.
It seems that the couple’s engagement and wedding were only a week apart. On May 12, 2019, they walked down the aisle at St. George’s Church in Englefield, Surrey, England, while dozens of celebrity guests looked on. As for their wedding cake, it was made up of three tiers, with the middle tier featuring an intricate design made in the shape of a heart. The cake topper, which was shaped like a swan, was put on top of the icing to complete the tableau.
The Baby
If you can’t get enough of Bella and Robert, you’ll be pleased to learn that they are indeed parents to a baby girl. On June 12, 2019, the couple welcomed their daughter into the world. She weighed in at a healthy 7.8 pounds and her exact birth date is unknown at this time. According to reports, the baby’s birth was attended by a host of famous faces, including Harry Styles and Millie Brown. Hopefully, she will continue to grow up surrounded by love and support.
The Movie
While the couple are still enjoying their early days as a married couple, it appears that Kiss Kiss may not be the only Disney project they are participating in. The filmmaker released this cryptic teaser video for their upcoming fantasy adventure, Dumbo. The director will be taking the camera back on the journey of their iconic big horned elephant as he searches for his estranged parents.
