It’s not every day that we see such a significant transformation. But as remarkable as it may seem, that is exactly what Daniel Pattinson is doing at the moment. After spending years as one of the most desired men in Hollywood, the 35-year-old has seemingly now found his calling in life and is on a mission to prove that talent and hard work can lead to anything.

The Making Of An Actor

If you’ve ever seen a movie made by the famous director Stanley Kubrick, you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say that Daniel Pattinson can really act. He has an uncanny ability to bring any character he portrays to life, making him one of the most in-demand stars in the industry. I think what really makes him stand out is the fact that he gives off such an intense on-screen presence. Even when he’s just holding a conversation with a friend, he seems like he’s performing a monologue for the entire world to hear.

A Rising Star

As you may know, Daniel Pattinson grew up in Britain and began acting at a very young age. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 20 and shortly after, he was spotted by a talent agent. After a string of modeling gigs and voice over work for commercials, he got his big break in 2006, when he landed the role of Scott Taylor on the hit show, Scrubs. It wasn’t long before he was dubbed ‘Scott’s brother’ and became known for his witty and charming on-screen presence. Since then, he has racked up a number of high-profile roles, including the sinister John Milton in the upcoming Candyman, as well as the title character in the superhero film Suicide Squad. Most recently, he appeared in the third season of the acclaimed series, The Handmaid’s Tale, as well as the British horror film, The Midnight Meat Train.

No Regrets

While most people can’t help but be a bit starstruck by the glamorous and talented Daniel Pattinson, the actor seems to be taking his newfound stardom in his stride. It seems that he’s not at all scared of taking on more challenging roles and continues to prove that he’s not just a one-dimensional ‘pretty boy’. In fact, he frequently speaks about how much he enjoys pushing himself beyond his comfort zone and being the best version of himself that he can be. Most recently, I think he may have even surpassed himself, with his performance in a small role in the movie, A Rainy Day in April proving to be one of the highlights of the film. It was a bold choice to put him in a small role as he normally plays the handsome leads in big films, and I think it paid off. In a film where he plays the father of a teenage girl, he totally commits to the character and shows a different side to his acting. But without giving too much away, let’s just say that the film explores some very dark and traumatizing events that deeply affect the main character and the audience alike.

The Future Of Acting

It’s safe to say that Daniel Pattinson’s journey wasn’t exactly linear. After spending years playing the male leads in Hollywood movies, he finally found himself in a role that allowed him to show off his dramatic side and it seems that his fans are more than happy to indulge in his more serious act. But if there’s one thing that Daniel Pattinson wants the audience to know, it’s that he’s just getting started. He has such a bright future ahead of him and I for one, can’t wait to see what he does next.
