In the series, he is depicted as a bookish teenager who is obsessed with reading comic books, collecting autographs, and creating elaborate costumes and makeup for Halloween. Kevin (Kevin Andrew Burns)
\”Kevin\” (Kevin Andrew Burns) is the best friend of Chris, and one of the main protagonists of the series. He was born in Los Angeles, California, on March 16, 1979, and is of Irish and French descent. His mother is a homemaker, and his father is a businessman. He has a brother named Paul, and two sisters named Lauren and Emily. At an early age, he began to show an interest in acting. He attended the North Hollywood Drama Academy and later studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. When he is not working or studying, he can be found traveling or hanging out with his friends. In the show, Kevin is shown to be a jovial character with an adventurous spirit. He is constantly trying to cheer up his friend, Chris, who seems to be down in the dumps a lot. He hopes to one day become an actor.
Luke (Thomas Patterson)
\”Luke\” (Thomas Patterson) is the other main protagonist of the series. He was born on December 22, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. His parents are Thomas and Shirley Patterson. He is the middle child of the family, having an older brother, Max, and a younger sister, Chloe. At an early age, he showed a keen interest in drawing, and would often draw caricatures of people or animals to amuse his family and friends. In the series, he is a fun-loving, adventurous teen who is constantly searching for thrills. He wants to prove to his school friends that being a nerd is not a thing of the past, and hopes to do so by participating in as many dangerous activities as possible. He wants to travel the globe and see as much as he can while he is still a teenager. When he is not studying or exploring new places, he is often found with his best friend, Kevin, hanging out at the skate park or searching for rare comics and action figures at the comic book store. In the last episode of the series, Luke is shown to be beginning his freshman year of high school. It is hinted that he is more mature than his friends and has a more responsible character. He stands out among his peers due to his intellectual curiosity and his unyielding nature. He is the complete opposite of his friend, Chris, who he occasionally helps to raise his spirits when he is feeling down.
The three friends in the series become embroiled in a web of romance, adventure, and supernatural occurrences.
