Most people know that the actor/model Robert Pattinson is the son of the late film director, Bruce Pattinson, and have seen his work on the big screen. Robby was born on September 4, 1986, in London, England to Fiona and Bruce Pattinson. He has a twin sister named Mary who is two years his junior. Growing up in London, he attended The Dragon School and Gordon High School. He briefly attended the prestigious Le Rosey College in Switzerland, where he learnt French. After school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. It was there that he starred in the television series, Vampire Diaries, and made many acquaintances, including a member of the infamous socialite and fashion pack, the Kardashians.
Film Career
Since the very beginning of his career, Robert has been very busy, working on multiple projects and steadily building up an impressive list of credits. At such a young age, he already had his big break when he landed the role of Cedric Diggory in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which was released in 2005.
