However, many began to wonder if the pair would last once their public appearances became more infrequent. Would a high profile romance last more than a couple of months?
Well, it appears that their romance is highly unlikely to last. As previously mentioned, Clooney has been accompanying photographers to try and catch the couple together. But in an interview with Vanity Fair, the actress said that the paparazzi attention is beginning to take a toll: “Sometimes it’s really hard to not even think about it. This sentiment was echoed by Pattinson in a Vanity Fair interview, saying, “I want to be with her. But, you know, being chased by paparazzi is pretty bad for your mental health. It’s hard not to be in a bad place, when all you want is to be with the person you love.”

In October 2019, the “Twilight” actor was spotted leaving a hotel in London with Olivia Cooke, the 28-year-old daughter of Sir Paul Cooke. However, this was not a surprise, as Cooke had previously told the press that she and Pattinson were “heading towards a full-on relationship.”
While still relatively early stages, this romance is also highly unlikely to last. In an interview with the Evening Standard, Cooke stated that while she appreciates Pattinson’s “attentiveness,” she does not want a serious commitment: “I think that’s what scares me the most. I don’t want to settle down yet. I still want my freedom.”
Cooke also spoke with Vanity Fair about her father, who she believes is holding her back from pursuing her own desires: “I think he thinks I’m not ready, or that I don’t know how to take care of myself. He wants to protect me.” While it is likely that Cooke’s father will support her decision to date an “A-list” actor, it is clear that he does not approve of her romancing her “Twilight” co-star. Amal Clooney’s first marriage to human rights lawyer George Clooney was famously short-lived. The couple were married for only a matter of months before separating in 1997. While not technically “single” since that time, Clooney has been romantically linked to several other high profile individuals. It is likely that Clooney does not feel comfortable being in a relationship with someone who is already highly pursued, and who may become even more so, once news of their association surfaces.
