It’s been just under a year since we’ve heard from Robert Pattinson. Since then, the actor has kept a low profile, only appearing in minor magazine covers and music videos. He’ll soon be seen on the big screen again in Gucci Mane’s upcoming movie, Welcome To the Dollhouse. The film will mark the actor’s return to theaters after five years of self-imposed exile.

Early Life And Education

Robert Pattinson was born in London on December 31, 1982. He is the only child of actors Kate and Tim Pattinson. His father is English, and his mother is Irish. Born into a wealthy family, he grew up in a mansion in South London.

As a teenager, Robert developed an interest in film, often taking his parents’ cameras with him on walks to capture the sights and sounds of London. He also began taking acting classes in preparation for a future career in the field. By age 16, he had already started to gain some attention for his work, landing minor roles in British television shows. In 2002, he graduated from Rydberg School in Copenhagen, where he studied economics and business administration.

Career And Fame

After graduation, Robert went on to star in the film adaptation of the Agatha Christie classic, Death on the Nile. The film co-starred Dame Judi Dench, who played Hercule Poirot in the original story. Since then, he’s mostly stayed away from the spotlight, preferring to focus on his private life. A self-proclaimed computer geek, he enjoys spending his free time playing video, drinking tea, and reading. In 2016, he released his first book, entitled, Upstairs, Downstairs: My Life In Service. The 336-page volume is a memoir of his time in service, with some anecdotes and helpful tips on running a home. The following year, he reunited with Kate, his mother, on the big screen in her directorial debut, Remember Me. The film, which also starred his then-fiancée, Amandabai Padma Thakor, focused on a mother-son relationship and drew comparisons to Pretty Woman. Since then, he has appeared in a few more movies, including The King, The Matchmaker, and the upcoming Gucci Mane film, Welcome To the Dollhouse. For more information on Robert, visit the links below.
