It’s been a crazy few weeks. After spending so much time with my family over the holiday break, I’m finally back in the thick of things. Between writing, traveling, and hanging out with my friends, time has slipped by quickly. In this blog post, I want to take a minute to go over some of the notable things that have happened in the last couple of months. Hopefully, this will prove useful to those who are trying to keep track of all the recent changes in their lives. So let’s get started.

Clinton’s Visit and Pattinson’s Books Going On Sale

In mid-January, Bill Clinton came to Pittsburgh and held a press conference at which he discussed a number of different issues. One of the things that I found most interesting about his visit was the fact that his first stop was the Carnegie Library. He spent about half an hour there, sitting and chatting with the librarians. It was a really informal and relaxed atmosphere, which I thought was wonderful.

As for Pattinson’s books, well, they’re still going strong. They’ve been selling quite well, to the point where I decided to go ahead and preface this section with a quick plug for my favorite reading material. So if you’re looking for good books that feature gorgeous male characters, I’d recommend checking out the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. You can also find out more at the bottom of this post.

Matching Wedding Bands And More

Last but not least, let’s not forget about the matching bands. Back in October, I shared my excitement about Kristen and Rob’s decision to wear matching bands on their wedding day. Well, they didn’t let me down. Not only did they walk down the aisle to the tune of the ‘70s wedding band classic, ‘I Do’, but they also had matching bands to keep up with the tradition.

As you can imagine, this turned into one of the major ceremonies of the year. It was such a touching moment to see two people so clearly in love and committed to each other. Plus, it was such a cool way to end the wedding days. It was a memorable event to say the least!

This is one of the many reasons why I love blogging. Last week, we welcomed a brand new member of the Edwards clan. It was such an exciting moment to see Emily grow up before our very eyes. She’s a beautiful baby girl and I’m sure her proud parents are over the moon. Thanks for another successful pregnancy Emily!

The Future Of Blogging

So what’s next for me and my blog? It’s probably time for an update. Back when I started this blog, it was purely for fun and to entertain my friends and family. Over the years, it has slowly evolved into a place where I talk about everything from books and films to politics and current events. I truly believe that everyone has something to offer and if we’re not careful, the world can become a bit too small a place. We need to be able to embrace new things and new people, even if they don’t necessarily agree with us. It’s a pretty interesting time to be a part of the blogging world. There are so many different directions that it could go in. Maybe one day I’ll even be able to afford a staff of my own. Until then, I’ll just have to make the most of what I’ve got.
