While we’re still waiting to hear from the singer on behalf of her new album, the gossip surrounding the musician and her famous fiance, the Rolling Stone Prince Charming Robert Pattinson, continues to flow.

The duo were first linked together in 2013, shortly after Pattinson, then 28, had separated from his wife of six years, Kate Winslet. Since then, they’ve been photographed sharing countless passionate kisses and holding hands while out on romantic dates, attended various fashion events and award shows together and supported each other’s careers.

Now, almost two years into their relationship, people are wondering if the fair isle and twig will indeed bloom into a beautiful flower this December. That’s when their marriage ceremony will take place at St. Marks Place United Methodist Church in New York City.

Rumors began swirling in October 2017 when the couple were photographed holding hands as they stepped out onto the sidewalk in Beverly Hills. Twigs and her manager released a statement at the time saying, “They’re just friends. Absolutely no relationship. It wouldn’t be a religious thing. It would be a civil ceremony.” (TMZ)

While the statement seemed to put an end to the speculation, the photographer who took the picture, Terry Richardson, has since spoken out about the “fake” nature of the romance, claiming that both parties are just “playing the game” and “don’t mean it.” Richardson also claimed that they’ve broken up multiple times over the past two years, but they always “slash” together again.

Now, with only months to go before the wedding, Twigs is putting the finishing touches on her wedding dress while Pattinson has reportedly purchased a bespoke honeymoon suite for her at the London Hotel.

Are the celebrity couple still together this December?

The Wedding

While we don’t know exactly when it will happen, we do know that Twigs and Pattinson’s wedding will take place at St. Marks Place United Methodist Church in New York City. The ceremony will be officiated by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury. It’s set to be a fair isle and twig affair with floral decorations and a three-tier wedding cake.

There’s no question that Twigs is making the right choice when it comes to selecting a wedding venue. As the former home of Andy Warhol, the chapel has quite the history. It’s even been the site of several high-profile weddings. Besides, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There’s no surprise that Justin would be chosen to perform the ceremony.

It will be an intimate event, with only 100 guests invited, and is expected to last about an hour. Those who were lucky enough to be asked to walk the bride down the aisle will have the opportunity to speak with the couple after the ceremony. Guests will then be treated to an afternoon of “wedding bliss” with canapés, champagne and live music. After the ceremony, the happy couple will take a walk around Central Park before heading to Justin’s official residence for an intimate dinner. They’ll then board a boat for a beautiful sunset cruise over the Hudson River.

The Destination Wedding

It seems that Twigs and Pattinson are going all the way for their honeymoon, taking their wedding gifts and going on a lux vacation to Italy. The luxury vacation destination wedding was first touted in May 2017 when the couple were photographed on a private beach in Portofino. While it was initially reported that the trip was completely paid for by the hotel, as is traditional for a luxury destination wedding, there are no details about where they will stay or what activities they will partake in.

Since then, the destination wedding has been mentioned several times in print and on social media. The most recent sightings of the happy couple were in Venice in September, when they were photographed holding hands as they stepped off a gondola. While we don’t know exactly where or when the wedding will take place, it will be a chance for the couple to spoil their guests with an unforgettable celebration.

The Breakup

Just because they’re getting hitched doesn’t mean that Twigs and Pattinson’s relationship is perfect. Far from it, in fact. While it may be hard to believe, the fair isle and twig have been through multiple breakups, with some reports claiming that they’ve split more than a dozen times. (Daily Mail)

However, the rumor mill has churned out the same script time and time again, with the couple always “slashing” their way back together. The most recent breakup was announced in July 2017. The couple called off their engagement that month, with Twigs citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the split. (E!)

“I just want to share with you that there is absolutely no relationship between Robert and I,” the musician posted on social media. “I have never felt more distanced from someone I have known for so long. It is not that we have disagreed about anything, but rather that we have wanted different things. Much love to you and yours.”

Unfortunately, while it may be fun to speculate about the romantic status of Twigs and Pattinson, there’s no real way of knowing for sure. One thing is for sure – the speculation will continue to swirl until we hear something concrete from either party.
