Who knew that just by becoming famous for being famous, a celebrity would have access to so much more work? Thanks to the magic of the internet, we can find out what movies all the famous people we love have appeared in, and which ones we should avoid like the plague. Let’s take a look at all the movies Robert Pattinson has played in:
Movies With Producers From The Twilight Saga
The Twilight Saga: New Moon: This installment of the vampire-pop-turned-mega-successful-franchise follows the adventures of Bella (Kelly McGillis) and Edward (Pattinson) as they navigate their new relationship which is a little more complicated than in the first movie. It turns out that while Bella is happy to be with Edward as he is the perfect gentleman and attentive lover, her happiness is somewhat superficial given that deep down she still harbors a small spark of hope that she can still one day become human again. She knows there is no going back to the way things were, and that she needs to learn to accept her new vampire self and live the “good” vampire life, but deep down she can’t help but pine for the days when she could still be with her family and eat normal food. The movie does a good job of balancing the need for romance with the growing responsibility that comes with being a vampire, and considering that it is the second installment in the series, it shows a maturing of the characters and a deepening of their relationship. While there is no denying that parts of the Twilight series are extremely addictive (especially the romance between Edward and Bella), there are certainly portions of it that are more mature and interesting than your typical teen flick.
Movies With Producers From The Divergent Trilogy
The Divergent Trilogy: Insurgent: This third and final installment of the Divergent trilogy will please fans of the series as it continues the story of Tris (Anika Noni Rose) as she searches for the truth about her sister and the Erudite Republic, a secret society that trains elite children to be future leaders of society. Tris has always been a maverick and a bit of an individual, and in this installment she continues to defy expectations as she fights to save the people and factions she loves. While there is no question that Insurgent completes the trilogy and serves as the ultimate redemption of Tris, it is also a bit of an anti-climax considering fans were really just hoping for a chance to see the destruction of the Erudite Republic. Overall, this is still a great trilogy and one of the best teen series of all time.
Movies With Producers From The Harry Potter Franchise
The Harry Potter Franchise: Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them: This is the official sequel to 2010’s Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, a movie which was in turn a prequel to the Harry Potter series. This time around we get to learn more about the titular character, formerly known as Harry Potter, and his adventures after leaving wizardry behind. While not necessarily a direct adaptation, the movie does serve as an excuse to have Newt Scamander (Pattinson) and his fantastic beasts around for the duration; it wouldn’t be a Harry Potter movie without some sort of magical creature or creature effect. The movie does a great job of expanding on the Fantastic Beasts world and providing additional context for the creatures, and considering it is the first in a trilogy, it sets the stage well for the upcoming sequel, which is due out this year. If you liked Fantastic Beasts, then you will love this movie too, as it provides more information on what helped make the beasts so special in the first place.
Movies With Producers From The Kingsman Gangsters
The Kingsman Gangsters: The Golden Circle: In this latest entry in the Kingsman series, Eggsy (Tilda Swinton) and his team of misfits journey to Iceland to stop an alliance between Russia and America that will result in a war to end all wars. It is a fairly standard action flick that plays homage to the popular Bladerunner and The Matrix movies as well as the classic Game of Thrones, and while some people may find it to be a bit slow-paced at times, the characters are more than enough reason to sit through the movies. The main difference between this installment and the previous two is that it stars Tilda Swinton, and if you are unfamiliar, she plays various characters that usually feature heightened intelligence and sensitivity. It is a role that she has mastered, and it shows in every scene: Swinton shines in this movie as she displays an emotional intelligence that we rarely see in film.
Movies With Producers From The Hunger Games Franchise
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1: The final installment of the Hunger Games trilogy was one of the most anticipated movie events of 2015 and it did not disappoint as it delivered a powerful ending to the story of Katniss (played by Jennifer Lawrence) and her adventures as she tries to save the world. Once again, the movie does a great job of balancing action and drama, and while it is incredibly heroic and moving to see Lawrence and co-star Josh Hutcherson save the day, it is also gut-wrenching to think about how much tragedy this woman has been forced to witness. This is one of the most important installments in the franchise as it not only answers many questions about the series but it raises even more as we see how Katniss’ actions reverberate down the years and influence future generations. It is an incredible feeling to see a story that you enjoyed grow and develop over the course of several films, and while it would be remiss not to acknowledge the special relationship that these films share with their fans, it is important to remember that they are also just great movies. It is difficult to create memorable characters and iconic scenes when your sole purpose is to entertain, but somehow the creators of The Hunger Games pull it off and leave us with a trilogy that we will look back on in awe as much as we loved them during the filming.
Movies With Producers From The Late, Great James Bond
While the majority of the movies discussed here are a combination of fiction and fact, there is one that stands out as being entirely made up. So, we will devote special attention to this one for the purposes of this piece as it will likely be the only one that you have not heard of before now. James Bond (played by Daniel Craig) is back for one last adventure in Spectre, the 26th installment of the 007 series which was released early this year and is the final movie in the franchise. While we knew that Spectre would be Daniel Craig’s last Bond movie as he has stated that he does not plan on being in the role long-term, we did not know that it would be the last movie made under the direction of Sam Mendes. In the movie, Bond becomes involved in a chess game that pits the “sides” of good and evil against each other as the fate of the world hangs in the balance. While this sounds like something out of a Stephen King novel, it is, in fact, based on a true story that occurred in 1994. Despite having a completely made-up plot, Spectre is easily one of the best James Bond movies and it will go down in history as one of the greatest caped crusader stories of all time. Spectre is an amazing swan song for Daniel Craig and a fitting end to his legendary run as James Bond.
So there you have it, a complete guide to all the movies that Robert Pattinson has been in. As you can see, not all of them were created equal, and it is important to recognize the good and the bad in order to know which ones to support and which ones to avoid. Overall, Pattinson has had a pretty amazing career so far, and it is interesting to see just how much he has been able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. It would be remiss of us not to acknowledge that much of this is due to his status as one of the most popular and recognizable actors of his generation, and it is definitely a testament to his talent as an actor that he has been able to transition from leading man to supporting actor to, ultimately, character actor. It is almost certain that Pattinson will continue to thrive in the latter role as he has proven time and time again that he is one of the most versatile and talented actors of his generation. So, as you can see, while there are certainly upsides to being famous, there are also a lot of downsides associated with it.
