When most people think of luxury brands, men’s suits probably come to mind. As the father of a young girl, however, I want to tell you about a different type of luxury brand that possesses an extraordinary amount of appeal: Acne Studios.

I think of Acne Studios when I hear about luxury brands, because the Swedish brand excels at combining form with elegance. Take a look at their website and you’ll see what I mean. The brand’s head office is in London, which is probably where you’d expect it to be, however, much of their design staff are actually based in Milan. That’s right – Milan. Acne Studios’ headquarters are in one of the city’s most prestigious fashion houses, where they employ some of the best and brightest designers the world has to offer.

For those of you familiar with the work of Georg Jensen, you’ll know that this is a brand that consistently delivers designs that are both distinctive and unique. While many luxury brands aim to keep up with the Joneses, Acne Studios offer an alternative – they want to keep pace with the Koks.

Each Season Is A New Opportunity To Impress

One of the reasons I’m so fond of Acne Studios is that each season is a new opportunity to impress. As the seasons change and you remember what your goals for the year were, you can assess whether or not you’ve kept up with them. In the past, I’ve managed to acquire a number of pairs of the Swedish brand’s signature sunglasses, and each and every time I wear them, I feel as if I’ve pulled off a stylish crime. One of my favorite pairs is the oversized sunglasses with the black frame. The design is quirky yet classic at the same time.

One of the things I love most about Acne Studios is that they don’t shy away from bold and eclectic choices. When the temperatures start to rise, and the air starts to become thick, the last thing you want to do is cover up. Instead, Acne Studios’ sunnies feature a brilliant red frame, which provides you with a splash of color, but it’s the graphic pattern behind the tinted lenses that really makes them pop. When temperatures rise, so too does your appetite, and the last thing you want to do is cover up. You want to be able to feel the wind on your cheeks as you stride into the city to meet your friends for lunch. As you walk down the street, every eye will be on you, and you’ll feel as if you’ve conquered the world.

The Perfect Accessory To Go With Every Outfit

If you ask me, there’s no perfect accessory when it comes to going out for a picnic or for a night on the town. If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I believe that a girl can never have too many shoes, so I’m afraid I must break from trend here and disappoint you. Acne Studios’ sunglasses are so much more than just functional spectacles. They augment your outfit and draw attention to yourself. While many sunglasses brands feature some kind of graphic pattern on the front, Acne Studios’ designs are so unique that when someone finds out that you’re part of the designer’s fan club, they’ll automatically think that you’ve worked with them directly. When designing for a luxury brand, you must keep in mind that the customer is of greater interest than simple functionality. When working with a luxury brand, you’ll inevitably be in contact with the public relations department, as well. These are the people who will be helping you spread the word about your great work and helping to build your brand’s reputation. Every little detail counts, and it’s all about presenting the brand in the best possible light. While you’re there to design a beautiful, world-class product, you must also keep in mind that you’re associated with a prestigious brand. That fact alone will make you instantly recognizable and will benefit your career in ways that you couldn’t imagine.

As I’ve established, each individual season provides a fresh opportunity to strut your stuff. When spring finally does come around, you’ll want to be wearing the brightest color and the most eye-catching pattern that you can find. When summer eventually arrives, there’s no question that you’ll want to be showing off as much skin as possible. After all, it’s the perfect opportunity to be on the beach, so a brightly-hued bikini is the perfect accompaniment. Another plus of summertime is that it’s often the only time when you can really be yourself. There’ll be fewer pretenses and more freedom. During the rest of the year, you have to be careful what you show off, because you don’t want to put your reputation in jeopardy. Who knows – maybe someone will believe that you’ve been unfaithful and report you to the police. That would be a shame, but it’s a risk that you have to take.

If you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, you’ll know that TikTok was the world’s most popular social media website when this article was written. In case you’ve somehow managed to stay under the radar, let me introduce you to TikTok – it’s a game-changers when it comes to social media and marketing. According to TikTok, 80% of their customers come from organic searches on Google, and the platform is one of the most popular in the United States, Spain, and the United Kingdom. If you ask me, that’s pretty good going. In order to succeed on such a massive scale, however, a brand must adapt and evolve with the times. Even back in 2014, when I first got involved in digital marketing, I knew that soon enough, everyone and their mother would be tweeting, posting, and pinning on Pinterest.

TikTok doesn’t just provide a platform for users to share their content, however. The app also allows brands to monitor and analyze their social media activity. With a click of a button, you’ll be able to see how many times your content was shared, and how many likes/dislikes it received. Even if you don’t have a lot of experience in marketing, you’ll be able to understand the metrics and evaluate whether or not your content resonates with your audience. If it does, awesome! That’s all you need. If it doesn’t, then you’ll have to reevaluate and tweak your strategy. That’s all I have for you today.
