Robert Pattinson Chats With ClevverTV
Robert Pattinson chats with ClevverTV about Remember Me, his character and his relationship with “Ally Craig” played by Emilie de Ravin.
Remember Me opens in US theaters on March 12th, 2010 and also stars Chris Cooper, Lena Olin and Pierce Brosnan. Remember Me is directed by Allen Coulter.

saw this movie today, its it so beautiful. I can see why Robert Pattinson wanted to EP this to protect it. Really is a beautiful message and well acted!
Just came back from the theatre and I have to say that I found Remember Me to be one of the best movies that I have ever seen. Without giving away too much, I want to thank Summit Entertainment for keeping such a tight lid on the ending. I never saw any clips or read anything about it, so I was completely shocked by it.
The movie is wonderful, Rob’s acting was very good although I found him to be just a little bit too intense at times, and once again, the ending is unbelievable. I laughed and I cried with this movie. Go see it soon before you start reading or hearing too much about the ending.
Sadly, I had the ending of Remember Me spoiled for me online by some idiot trolling around on a forum. Unfortunately, someone else later confirmed that what he/she said was in fact the true ending. Damnit, damnit, damnit.
That really sucks! I’m so sorry! I’ve been e-mailing all my friends and telling them to try and see it this weekend before too much is released (via the media, word of mouth) about the ending.
Anyway, don’t let knowing the ending stop you from seeing it. The movie is wonderful. I’m sure you will enjoy it anyway.
I just saw the movie too! It was so good! I am so thankful he saw the beautiful story in the scrip and brought it to big screen. While his character Tyler is impulsive and explosive at time, he is so sweet in this movie, his love for his little sister, is very tender. I don’t want to say too much and ruin it for anyone–just go and see it. Rob is very sexy in it too!! I LOVE Rob!
I have one complaint. Not enough Rob skin shown! After seeing the video clip interview where he discusses needing a “modesty patch,” I though for sure that we’d see a little something (at least some butt cheek!). He was always covered with the damn sheet!
He sure does have a lot of beauty marks on his back, huh? That’s why he’s so gorgeous!
Did you see the size of the body tag on Emilie’s back?! Nasty.
Moderator could be please have a topic in which we can discuss the movie? I know I would appreciate that instead of us all posting in random topics from today. Just something with Remember Me released today chat about here, that way we can talk about the movie without spoiling it for anyone else.
I don’t think what I wrote below will SPOIL anything but just in case avoid if you have not seen the film. Spoiler Alert just in case!
I thought the movie was wonderful but the end was unexpected and very painful for me to watch. They did a good job of hiding the ending even though the “time period” of the movie was mentioned in articles and interviews; at least I didn’t get a sense (until things started to unfold at the end) of what was coming. They did a wonderful job but it was hard to watch. Rob and the entire cast did a great job, it’s for sure one of the best movies I’ve ever seen but it can be very emotional. I feel like I need to detox from it or something. It was so subtle and sweet through most of the movie with shocking parts here and there but it didn’t really prepare me for how intense and emotional it was in the end. Very few films get me that much; it reminds me how I felt after Return of the King, The Pianist (holocaust movie with Adrian Brody). It probably felt so personal since there are actual people living today who could relate so deeply to that story. By the end it didn’t feel like fiction anymore. Bring a box of tissues to the theatre if you haven’t seen it yet.
SPOILER!!! SPOILER!!! I tried not to give anything significant away but just in case.
Emma- I actually watched all the clips, some of them more then once, read a bunch of articles and watched the interviews and I was still shocked by the ending. I knew it was related in some way to “fill in blank if you’ve seen the movie” but I thought it was more about the time period and not so significant to the story and characters. I think the hardest part was how they had everything unfold so slowly, it was agonizing because I was hoping that whole time somehow there would be a miracle, something that would make things better. Allowing the audience to hope, while bombarding them with more and more little pieces that slowly erode that hope makes the movie so emotional in the end. All while knowing this story could have been based on real life people makes it a lot to handle. I can’t imagine what someone would go through watching Remember Me who actually has someone to remember from “again fill in the blank”.
And the modesty patch was need for what? Hopefully there will be some different versions of the love making scene or maybe some completely different scenes in which that could have been needed because while he was certainly hot and the love scenes were hot he totally could have had pants on the whole time and no one would be the wiser. I’m betting they did those shots in different ways so they could decide what would fit best when it came to putting the whole film together. The movie could have had more shirtless-ness but I liked how they did things. It was tender and/or emotional in those scenes and I think that’s how it should have been. I look forward to a DVD though with deleted scenes or extended scenes or different versions with more skin or intensity. Especially since I doubt I will be seeing the whole movie again, at least not anytime soon. I may just have to rent it to watch all the cute and sexy Rob parts and then forget to watch the rest, especially the ending
