Will Robert Pattinson be at the Oscars?
After Twilight and New Moon star, Robert Pattinson, chose to skip the Golden Globes, speculation is now mounting that Pattinson may not attend the Oscars. Although Twilight Saga actor, Robert Pattinson, is the hottest star on the planet, Pattinson has been keeping a low profile when it comes to awards shows in 2010, including the People’s Choice Awards, the recentGolden Globes and potentially the Oscars.
Although the New Moon co-star of Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, attended the 67th Annual Golden Globes ceremony, Pattinson was noticeably absent from the red carpet, which some Twilight fans and insiders say may be an indication that Robert Pattinson will skip the upcoming Oscars.
According to New York Magazine, Oscars producer Adam Shankman has concerns over securing Robert Pattinson for the March 7, 2010 broadcast of the Oscars and recently posted a possible scenario on his Twitter page of Pattinson not being able to attend the Oscars due to scheduling conflicts.
In an interesting Pattinson reveal, Twilight and New Moon fans get to see just how big Robert Pattinson is in terms of the Twilight Saga, as Shankman raised the question of whether Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart should attend if Pattinson is unable to appear at the Oscars or if the Oscars ceremony should go without theTwilight Saga cast members.

YOU KNOW EVERYONE IS CHOPPING AT THE BIT TO SEE ROB PATINSON SINCE HE HAS COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED SINCE THE NEW MOON PREMIER. HE WOULD BE THE ONLY ONE I WOULD WANT TO SEE AT THE OSCARS, IN FACT, IF HE IS NOT GOING TO BE A PRESENTER, WHY WATCH THE OSCARS.
Don’t be so cruel!!! Rob might be play Edward but I feel that I would like to see the other twilight starts too!!! I honestly I think is was a group effect which made the movie come to life for so many people. It took all of their talent to make it successful!!!!
No one wants to see beautiful Robert more than I, but he is not the only big star from the Twilight Saga. Any of them Kristen, Taylor, Ashley, Peter, Kellan, Jackson, Elizabeth, etc. would be exciting. Those award shows are annoying, I endured ALOT for the VMAs just waiting for Robert, Kristen and Taylor to present the video! So I personally hope he is not on there, as I don’t feel like watching the aggravating show…which is probably why he doesn’t care much about the awards shows either.

It would be nice to see Robert at the Oscars. If the rest of cast could attend that would be a treat too. I still would watch the Oscar’s regardless if they do or do not attend.
Rebecca, I was not being cruel, I meant that if Rob was not gong to be there then the Oscar committee by the way they talked, did not want Taylor and Kristen there without Rob. I realize that the Twilight Saga is a team effort and I love all of the cast, Rob is just my main man and without him, it would be boring.

rob is the only one from the twilight saga that i want to see at the oscars. if he is not going to be there then there is no point in me watching. please please please please please please may rob be there and presenting.

Rob will not be at the Oscars. The Academy has completely ignored the entire Twilight series, possibly because the rest of the movies which came out of the studios last year and so far this year are so lame! I have seen some and they stink with the exception of Avatar.

as a twilighter fan, i love to see pattinson and stewart at the oscars. they are the two person i like to see at the red carpet. if pattinson is unable to attend due to schedule in shooting bel ami, then maybe stewart. i don’t watch oscar every year but i am interested to see them at the red carpet together.
I really hope Rob will be at the Oscars but I know he is busy filming in the U.K. so he may not be there. I would definitely watch if he were going to be at the Oscars. Please, please, PLEASE no Taylor. Really tired of seeing him as a substitue for Rob, it just doesn’t work – we want Rob.
I agree, Rob Please come to the Oscars! We all know how busy he is filming Bel Ami in London but he will be in N.Y. for the premier of Remember Me around that time!! We really need to see Rob, Please!!! I agree Taylor does not cut it for me!!

Saw Rob at the BAFTAS last night, and I gotta say…WOW. Just. WOW!!! He looked hot in his tux!!
I watched the BAFTA’s b’coz him and Kristen were going to be there and I will watch the Oscars if he is there too…If he doesn’t go, then I will watch for Kristen and Taylor anyway, but it won’t be as much fun as watching Rob!!!
I really hope Rob does walk the red carpet and present at the Oscars. I was disappointed that the BAFTA team switched Rob from presenting the Orange Rising Star Award to the one he did present (I can’t for the life of me remember which one it was!! I was too busy ogling at him to pay attention to hear what award he was presenting!! LOL!!).

I actually like the entire cast, so I would like everyone to be there but without Robert Pattinson, I’m flabbergasted!!! He has to be there! He is promoting “Remember me” he has to attend! What a disappointment if he is not there…I will watch the Oscars with no or little anticipation…I might even skip it, why bother if Pattz isn’t there?

This obsession with Robert Pattinson is a bit ridiculous, dontcha think girls? I mean sure, everyone wants him to be there… but there are hundreds of insanely talented people in that room tonight. To skip out on the awards simply because one person can’t make it is just sad.
