Twilight Saga TV Deal?
(Somehow I doubt this is true!!)
Robert Pattinson is said to have signed a 500-million-dollar Twilight television deal.
Summit Entertainment, the studio that makes the monster-hit film franchise, is branching out into TV production, and bosses want Pattinson to reprise his big-screen role as Edward Cullen.
The 23-year-old actor could land as much as 1.5million-dollar an episode as part of the deal, which could kick in as early as next year, reports the Daily Star.
Pattinson’s co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays his on-screen human love Bella Swan, is also wanted by the bosses.
Both the stars, rumoured to be real-life couple, would be free to work on the TV version almost immediately as they have already finished working on third film in the series, ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’.
How i wish it was true..to see Robert and kristen on tv every week…what a bliss..in Australia i probably would have to wait a year or more to see it …
but I don’t believe it..50 million were do they get that number from…and who wouldn’t for that much money …I would sell my grandmother if i had one…lol..they would never need to work again for the rest of their life after that.
he could start his own production company…live of the interest alone.Actors usually like a variety in roles…otherwise it becomes boring..type cast…and people would get sick of it eventually…

I don’t believe this one. I don’t think Rob wants the money enough to go for a tv version. And he does have other obligations beyond Twilight already.

I call this one a total untruth. I doubt Robert or Kristen would commit to a television show. This would be Twilight overkill. How often has a hit movie been made into a sitcom and has been cancelled within the same year, I know there’s quite a few.
already done…it was called buffy the vampire slayer…and it was greatness. can we please just enjoy the portrayal of the beloved books on the big screen and leave it at that. i want rob to move onto better things like his role in ‘remember me’. i think it’s clear from previous interviews that kris and rob wouldn’t sell themselves out. (myself on the other hand would do pretty much anything for 1.5 million! lol.)
Why would he want to go from being a top notch success story on the big screen to mere television celebrity status. Yes, the money is great, but at this point, I don’t think he needs it. He is making plenty with the Twilight saga and has so much more in store for him in the future with other productions.
I’d love to see Rob and Kristen starring together again in a movie or something.
But I really don’t think they will sign for something like that. A TV show about Twilight… very different from their acting background.
Anyway… who knows? They both said many times how much they love the saga.
