Uma Thurman to Be Rob’s Next Co-Star?
Robert Pattinson has finally found his leading lady for his next film. And no, it’s not the much-rumored Nicole Kidman.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Uma Thurman will star opposite Pattinson in “Bel Ami.” Based on the famous Guy de Maupassant short story, “Ami” follows young journalist George Duroy (Pattinson) who deviously jumped from the bed of one of Paris’ most influential women to another to make his way to the top. Thurman will play the wife of a friend of Duroy’s who assists him in is ascent and later becomes his wife.
Also joining the cast is Kristin Scott Thomas. The Oscar-nominee will play a socialite who falls for Duroy, but just can’t let go when he’s ready to move on.
Thurman will appear next as Medusa in 20th Century Fox’s “Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.”
Pattinson stars in this weekend’s expected blockbuster, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and in next summer’s “Remember Me.”
“Bel Ami” is expected to begin shooting in Paris next year.
I read this too. I love both actresses and for these roles I believe they would portray the characters far better than the quite enigmatic Nicole Kidman.. (whom I love but not in one of these roles)…

phew thanks!.. quite a nice way to break up the wait for Eclipse!.. hurrah.. I am actually more excited to see Rob’s work outside of Twilight.. we kind of know what he can do there.. we just want to see the story realised.. I want to see more of the Dali, Art stuff etc.. Tyler looks like a great bad boy does good character!.. Reminicent of The Outsiders.. actually I would LOVE to see a remake of The Outsiders with Rob playing Ponyboy’s part..

I really enjoyed reading Bel Ami & can’t wait to see him in that role. I think he’ll be brilliant.
I don’t want him to go to paris…women will eat him alive there..predators with phony English accent ..lol they will ruined our wholesome patz..how long will he be there anyway kizzy.. give us the low down..I haven’t read the story of bel ami..I’m still looking for the book the haunting of toby jug….has to be a better story than the film the haunted air man..he did well in that film I think..it was hard to watch….
