Robert Pattinson Love Triangle?
I’m not sure WHAT to think about this article! Except I’m not a fan of “sources” and I’m not a fan of FOX News!
ROBERT Pattinson apparently hated working with the first Twilight director, Catherine Hardwicke.
Pattinson and Hardwicke, who was dumped for the sequel New Moon, allegedly didn’t get along because Catherine liked to rush things while Rob liked to take his time.
“Catherine and Rob didn’t exactly get along that well,” a source told FOX News. “Rob is more a method actor and likes to take time and get into his character while Catherine likes to get things moving. It caused a lot of tension between them.”
Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Rob and Kristen Stewart “devastated” their costar Nikki Reed when they started dating.
Rob and Nikki apparently dated shortly after they finished filming the first Twilight flick and she was left furious when the hunky British actor dumped her and hooked up with Kristen.
“Rob and Kristen are funny because they’re so super secretive, even with their closest friends in the cast, they’re very cryptic,” a source said. “They are together for sure because it really caused waves between Rob/Kristen and Nikki Reed.
“After the first Twilight wrapped, when Rob and Nikki were together and no one was a megastar yet, you could still see the sparks between Kristen and Rob even though they were each in their respective relationships… they always had this really intense, magnetic chemistry. So Nikki was the one to get hurt.
“Nikki was really in love with Rob, but we’re all scared to bring it up now.
“It’s something we just don’t talk about.
“Everyone is relieved she’s with Paris [Latsis, Paris Hilton’s former fiancé] because he is an amazing boyfriend to her.
“She’s happy and she’s really found someone that she can lean on through all the media hype surrounding the series.”

I believe that Rob wasn’t crazy about Catherine but that’s all of this article that I believe. Kristen and Nikki are good friends. Nikki’s dad is an of Catherine’s and Catherine remained a loyal friend and surrogate mother to Nikki following the breakup with Nikki’s dad. Kristen’s ex, Michael, is also a friend of Catherine’s and Nikki’s. I think Nikki’s attitude toward Rob is in defense of Michael. Well, tough Nikki. Leave them alone. There aren’t too many couples on the entire planet that have what Rob and Kristen have. Celebrate it and leave them be.
out of all the stories, I don’t know if it is true but it makes sense.. We haven’t seen Kristen and Nikki together in AGES and when twilight was first out Nikki and Rob were always seen together.
I know they are all busy, but I do feel like there has to be something going on with that

There’s a video clip out there somewhere of Kristen and Nikki and Michael at Catherine’s house doing something for the movie. And they are all having a great time. I think that Nikki was super close with Kristen and Michael. I agree that her reaction to Rob isn’t because she wanted him but because she really liked Michael as a friend and boyfriend of a best friend. Now Kristen is with Rob and it’s awkward. I wonder about Rob with the whole relationship with Kristen. It feels a bit underhanded to me. It makes me concerned about his honor. It feels like he took what he came for and what he wanted from the beginning without concern for others. It worries me.
I don’t know if anyone reads or believes Lainey, but she was sure Rob and Nikki were kind of together, and so if that’s true, the rest sort of makes sense. The off handed remarks Nikki makes about Rob. Kristen hanging out with Rob instead of Nikki now. And Kristen in the new Ew magazine saying there are certain people her, Rob and Taylor don’t like outside their group.
I don’t know maybe Nikki DID have a crush on Rob. And she’s pissed that Kristen was with a great guy like Michael and yet still ended up with Rob. And maybe Rob led her on and they dated a bit. I’m doubting that we will ever know exactly how all that went down. I felt like the dating was a franchise idea to deflect from Rob and Kristen but maybe they did date. I do think that whatever happened exactly, Nikki got burned by supposed friends. Glad that she has a boyfriend now even though he’s been contaminated by the ebola virus.
I still have yet to believe those two are a couple until I hear it from the horse’s mouth. Post all the hand-holding pics you’d like, I still think it’s because they’re promoting a movie which happens to be coming out THIS FRIDAY. All seems conveniently timed when you consider it.
It’s always been Kristen for Rob. He was just waiting, and if Nikki was there, while he was waiting on Kristen, then she must have realized that he wanted Kristen. Kristen and Rob seem to have a volatile relationship, both headstrong, but you cannot deny the chemistry between them, they seem crazy about each other. And when it is that strong, then whomever is along for the ride, is going to get hurt. But Nikki seems to have adjusted with her new boyfriend.
You’d never have guessed there was any tension between Rob and Catherine H the way she was alway all over him at all of the awards ceremonies. All on CH’s instigation I hasten to add. From that performance I can understand Rob going UUUUGGGHHHH after filming.
@rae–you sound like me, I am beginning to think our boy Rob is not as sweet an innocent as he is being promoted by the media at times. Like mentioned before his latest interviews abroad have kinda annoyed me at times. However, I do have to remind myself he is 23 and regarded as one of the sexiest men alive right now–soooo I guess he is only human that some of that is going to his head.
I just re-read New Moon for the 3rd time and I can see very easily why my DD and her friends are Team Jacob too. I have been very impressed with Taylor Lautner and how he has carried himself through all of the interviews…this week will be another big week of interviews.
Oh, I see a Summit PR person getting canned over this. Aren’t they supposed to catch stories like these before they are released?
I agree Rae. It all sounds like a big underhanded mess. Although, I doubt we’ll ever know for sure who are the players and who are the ones getting played. There are just too many ways to spin a story.
My opinion, based off of what I saw which is hardly anything. But I do believe Nikki and Rob were a thing last year. I do believe he’s always liked Kristen. I think Catherine is gross towards Rob. I’ve always thought she had a crush on him too. Which makes me want to puke just thinking about.
I think Kristen and Rob for the time belong together. Their life styles are similar and this probably won’t last forever. Just don’t ruin Breaking Dawn for me with some BS weird crap. That’s all I care.
I don’t fault Rob for his actions. I don’t fault Kristen for her actions. Whatever happens or happened is in the past and it doesn’t matter anymore.
Nikki and Kristen weren’t the first girls to have a fude because of a guy and won’t be the last.
I don’t think you let a guy come between two friends, but most of us have experienced somekind of riff with our friends because of a guy. The test is, how long it will take Kristen and Nikki to find themselves back to each other. I think Nikki was really into Robert, but he was more into Kristen. I think it hurt her, but you can’t make someone like you. You can tell she is still hurting from the off handed comments she made about Robert. I think Robert should just remember, what goes around, comes around. If he hooked up with Nikki because it was convient, then he will one day experience the same hurt with someone else. You have to realize that this relationship with Kristen, has cost Kristen more, then it has Robert. It cost her a dear friend.
@Rae and Sue…Robert is a man, and as we well know, it takes men a lot longer to find their way then it does women, in respect to relationships. I think we have all put Robert on a pedelstal because of who he is and what he represents, but the true test for Robert, is what kind of man he will be when it counts and from some of the comments he has made about relationships, he will need a few more years to perfect the true image that we how projected on to him. All relationships are learing experiences and I think he will learn a lot from this one, if he is dating Kristen.
I think Rob & Kristen should go for it. If Rob was not in love with Nikki, why would he stay with her. It’s exactly the same for Kristen & Michael. If you are not in love with someone, then you are not doing them a favor by staying in the relationship.
Rob & Kristen should follow their heart. Maybe this is their time. Good luck to them.
God they must have so much fun making those ridiculous stories up!!
@ lulu: I disagree. By now I think even the worst rags must be fed up with making those stories up. For sure its kinda tough to get all these weird ideas. I´ve heard just the other day on TV that Rob and KS cant handle all the pressure anymore and cant deal anymore with their crazy realtionship and that is why Rob started drinking and KS has been putting weight on through comfort eating.

Rob is a Brit - no offence but Brits can and do drink a lot - drinking is just so normal, especially for a 23 year old.

Just want to say that I like this site a lot. But I also want to say that there is nothing wrong with Fox News.
As for Rob and Kristen’s relationship… we will never know. They are very young and very famous. There are ridiculous stories out there, but Star and OK and others are trying to sell magazines. I think that is dishonest –to print lies and rumors– but that’s how it is.
@Lara with all due respect, your part of the problem if 1) you don’t see any problem with fox (faux) news and 2) you think the lies and ridiculous stories Star, OK, National Enquirer, etc. sell is something people need to just accept. People need to stop buying the garbage put out by these trashy outlets, who like to make people think they are delivering real news, when all they are delivering is negativity and pain for the stars and their families.

I dated an American pilot a few years back and he was MORTIFIED when I ordered a cold beer with lunch.. ha!. he thought i had a drink problem.. let’s say that relationship died a death pretty quickly..

Robert did not like how ass over head and unorganized Hardwicke was. Rob felt at ease with Kristen as she had a boyfriend. He is just a nice guy. He started to think he was in love with her due to the hot scenes that were deleted. Kristen stopped acting like Bella 24/7 and he realized how tough and angry (his words) she was. He says he faked the chemistry and it took him 2 months to get out of character. Kristen was deep in character too as the script required them to be “cracked wide open”. Rob wants a soul mate. Kirsten is not as nice, pure,refined, spiritual or classy as he is.
Nikki has never been in love with him. Nikki was just protective of Kristen. Ask yourself why Kristen never had a best friend until Nikki. Why are there so many pics of her holding hands with Nikki and cuddling. Why was Nikki out of the picture for months in Greece. Why did Nikki come without a date to the LA premiere?. Why no publicity for her?
Rob is friends with Kristen. These two off camera are like Cary Grant and Paris Hilton NOT A COUPLE…..Rob is just getting started….he is a late bloomer and needed to get some game….Kristen, is in love….Rob is in like. He stopped himself the during Twilight.
Hardwicke adores Rob. Rob just found her flaky hippie ways annoying. Kristen is way to liberal for conservative Rob. I hope he finds a nice girl not the girl from Vanity Faire and Entertainment Weekly interviews….REPULSIVE and manish.
