Robert Pattinson a Control Freak?
Robert Pattinson may seem like the happy-go-lucky type, but make no mistake—when it comes to his acting career, he rules his destiny with an iron fist.
During a press conference to promote the Twilight sequel New Moon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Friday, the World’s Sexiest Vampire admitted that he has a wee bit of trouble relinquishing control to others. As in, he hates it and avoids doing so at all costs:
“I have very specific ideas about how I want to do my work and how I want to be perceived and when…and to the point of ridiculousness sometimes. I don’t listen to anyone else, that’s why I don’t have a publicist at all, I can’t stand it when someone is telling me how to do something. It’s maybe a mistake sometimes. I like being, meticulous and its difficult as an actor to have that control.”

I would n,t call rob a control freak because he wants to look after his affair himself..you can’t even trust the banks these days.. his parents are probably the best people to advice him if he needs it and i would n’t even trust my best friends if i was him..but that is something we all have to find out for yourselves…like Myer said in her book people change..All the best rob..good luck with all that..
Good for you Rob! He’s smart, charming and sexy–gosh I hate I’m old enough to be his Mom!
I thought Stephanie Ritz was his publicist and she was just with him in Tokyo. Hmmm…..maybe he calls her by another name.
Stephanie Ritz is his manager.
I thought Nick Frendel was his manager??????
He is getting some guidence from somewhere, and I am sure he looks at each potential project. What Robert really needs is a stylist and a personal assistant. The stylist can just go shopping for him and launder his clothes. I vote for myself to be his assistant. Imagine hanging out with Robert on a day to day basis, getting little things that he needs, keeping his calendar in order and just being a paid buddy. I would quit my job for that assighment!
