Robert Pattinson will be on Regis & Kelly in November to promote New Moon. I doubt he’ll be on all 3 days - but I can’t wait to see the clips!

It will be a pre recorded interview which they will split over the three days to ensure you watch THEIR show in the lead up to the New Moon release..
Vanessa.. have a look at this link..
EMILIE DE RAVIN devastated at her break up with Robert Pattinson that she goes back to her ex husband!!>>
http://www.showbizspy.com/article/193338/robert-pattinsons-former-flame-emilie-de-ravin-gets-back-with-husband.html
The article is bullshit. People must really have time on their hands.
I would love to see Robert, Kristen and Taylor but I am just not sure how much I can endure of Regis and Kelly to see them!! They are the worst!
Of course the article is bullshit.. it just goes to show how putting Rob’s name to ANYTHING will sell magazines!!!… As if Emilie and Rob were dating!?..
Unless. he was shagging Kristen.. went to New York.. dumped Kristen (after getting her pregnant of course)… shagged Emilie .. moved back to LA.. dumped Emilie.. and begged Kristen to go back to him.. yeah.. that sounds real enough right?.
Has anyone downloaded the New Moon Soundtrack…
The New Moon (the Meadow) by Alexandre Desplat just makes me want to ball my eyes out.. I’m taking a pocketful of tissues when I go and see it!.. I think it is going to take our breath away.. seriously.. that soundtrack is damned good!
Just out of curiosity, how many moms will be heading out to see New Moon on Nov. 20th solo (sans children and husbands)? Will I be the only one sitting in the theatre alone? I don’t care. I’ve been waiting way too long for this movie to come out and I’m not going to deal with kids having to go to the bathroom or asking a million questions during it. They can come along for round 2…or 3…or maybe even 4.
Emma… you are very brave to go on the release day!!.. Rather you than me…Even though I am DESPERATE to see New Moon. I am going to wait a few weeks!.. I just can’t handle all the screaming and chatting and swooning..that will happen every time Robert or Taylor are on the screen… I will go and see a late night showing and enjoy every moment.. Not like there are any spoilers right!?..
good luck to you!!!!..
I’m planning on getting those dorky headphones that you can obtain from Customer Service and wearing them to drown out all the teenyboppers screams! Plus, hopefully the theatre will have an early showing and I can go while most of the kids are still in school. You do have a point though. It’s going to be crazy and as much as I adore this man, I do make sure to restrain my emotions and show some form of maturity that is expected of a 40+ yr. old (yeah right. Real mature looking wearing those big ass headphones and sitting alone during a matinee showing of New Moon).
I think all the fans swooning and the cat calls make it fun. It’s like we’re in a big fan club. Since the premiere is on a Thursday night (or midnight Friday) my friend that was planning the huge release party is thinking of making it for Saturday. She wants semi-formal wear with black/white only and maybe a limo to take us to the show. Extreme and very very fun. But now I don’t know if I can wait until Saturday. I’m wondering if she’ll hate me if I sneak into the theater at midnight. She’s already checked and the midnight showing here is NOT sold out but Friday night (20th) is. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I would like to be mature enough to wait but I know myself well enough to know that I’m going to be bouncing up and down Thursday night if I don’t make plans to go.
Hey Rae! I’d go and not tell anyone! Just be careful not to slip and let out a “watch what happens next” during the showing! Have fun!
As far as the “swooning and cat calls” go, not for me. You miss too many lines that are spoken because of it. I want to enjoy the movie from beginning to end. Headphones baby! Headphones!
I think I will still wait… Titanic was ruined by the sceaming and fussing of all the fanatics… I prefer to get lost in the moment…and feel as though I am alone in the theater, just me and the movie.. … I am happy to wait to experience it that way.. .. the cat calls and swooning drives me nuts…..
God bless your will of steel. I’m just happy that I won’t be one of those people waiting on line at midnight for the very first showing. I’m pretty impressed with myself!
Me too Emma… and really.. it WILL be a Will of steel!.. what with the interviews.. and red carpet moments.. and friends who will have seen it.. I will not cave in on this one!.. (such a shame I don’t have the same will power when it comes to chocolate! ). ha….
I’m sure midnight showing will cause me to miss some parts but I’m also sure that I’ll be watching it again soon after. Maybe the very next day LOL.
My 11 year old asked me just the other day if I was “obsessed” with Rob Pattinson. Naturally, I looked at him as though he were crazy and responded “of course not, that would unhealthy.”
Then he asked why every calendar in the house had Nov. 20th highlighted with colorful stars and smiley faces. No answer.
Then he asked why I had told my cousin that I couldn’t babysit my Godaughter (normal Friday routine) on the 20th and lied by saying that I made a doctor’s appointment that I absolutely could not break since it had taken months to get. No answer.
Then he asked what I was going to do when my cousin saw my calendars and realized that I had lied about the appointment. Once again, no answer but this time moritification and nervous anxiety set in.
Now I’m starting to wonder if I lied to him when I said that I was not obsessed.
oh Emma you do crack me up!!! My son 10yrs asked me the other day if i love him more than Robert Pattinson, and hey……..i had to think about it!!! He just looked at me as if to say”are you for real??” So i said i love him and Robert the same……..of course WRONG ANSWER according to him!! Jeez sometimes i seriously worry about myself, but then i just go into denial and think…….i’m not the only one it’s ok!! i never got to see Twilight on the big screen, so I am really excited to see New Moon. My first evening will be ”girls only” and i will have to see it again with my children and i am going to drag my friend with!!
Michelle, there is one thing that you need to learn. Never fully admit to the kids or husband just how crazy you are about Rob. They will tear you to pieces. I’ll sit there reading an article or checking something out on the internet and totally play it down. Y’know, no big deal to put the magazine or computer aside for a little bit and get back to it later. But, we all know that in reality, you’re just dying to get back to it and can’t stop thinking about it until you do. But, as we all know, there are times in life when one must fake it. If our loved ones knew how “Robsessed” we are, they would put us in straightjackets and ship our asses off to the nearest sanitarium. Well, at least you and I could keep each other company, right?

Sorry folks! I hit “submit” twice by mistake. That’s because my mind was elsewhere. Hmmm…should I do the laundry now or continue fooling around on the computer to see what else is new with my Rob? Yeah, that’s right. I said it. “My Rob.” All mine. Not going to share…mine, mine, mine…hey, who is that strange man with the white coat and why is he trying to sedate me?
Emma……..thanks for the tip………downplaying is a good thing!!! but it’s VERY hard!!
The sanitarium will have to build on a new wing called “ROBSESSED” just for us!! i wonder what kind of treatment we will receive to get rid of our addiction/obsession?? Maybe they will have to send Rob around daily to visit us so we don’t get withdrawal symptoms!! OME man with the white coat………..come fetch me now!!! LMAO!!
Michelle, I wouldn’t mind that daily dose of Rob one bit! In fact, if that were the case, get the padded room ready now! With the things I would want to do with Rob, we’d need the padding. Don’t mind the straightjacket either. Look Ma, no hands!
imagine us bouncing off the padded walls with Rob………i think he would love that……..maybe he’d even decide to stay!!! we’d know how to keep him safe and happy hey??? i hope he doesn’t read this stuff………..a bit weird for people who don’t understand Robsession!!
That’s for sure! God, don’t you feel like you’re 15 again!? Not a bad feeling. Especially since we no longer have to deal with the acne and hormonal changes. Well, at least not the acne. Thanks Rob for making us feel young again!
Michelle, I think you and I are the only ones still adding comments to this section. Everyone else has moved on. If we ever met, I think we’d get along great!
oh my word, 15 with all the intense moods! That is what Rob does to us women! i see we are alone here, but it’s ok….do you think it’s because we have an extra bit of nuttiness??!! LMAO! would love to meet you, i’m sure we’d have a great time, just a pity about the vast distance!
Have no idea where you are from. I’m in Connecticut. Not too many crazy folks around here. Too many Stepford Wives. If they like Rob, Twilight or anything affiliated with it, they won’t admit it. They’re too busy gardening or creating scrapbooks (gee, I hope you’re not into gardening or creating scrapbooks). I’m originally from New Jersey, so I have no qualms in showing my “Joisey” side. Wish we could somehow get to know one another. Love your sense of humor.
i live here in Cape Town, South Africa!! i know what u mean about the “won’t admit part”. We are at least mature enough to know that denial doesn’t work, so we go with the flow and deal with it as best we can!! and as for the gardening and scrapbooking….no and no!! My friend got me flowers and lavender , planted it for me, and i forgot to water them! He was so o o upset with me, that he told me the only flowers he will get for me again are plastic ones!! i felt really crappy about that!! if u have an e-mail address, we could mail each other, i have a work e-mail….
Would love to keep in touch via e-mail. try luv2read05@yahoo.com. I had to laugh when you mentioned “plastic” flowers. I won’t even try my hand at caring for real flowers or plants (they always die), so on my front porch, I have three hanging plants made up of fake flowers. They look beautiful all year long. Around Christmas, I switch them over to fake pointsettas. No one is the wiser, but me! Anyway, it would be great if you would e-mail me so we could continue our extremely distant friendship (South Africa! Wow! I had no idea you were so far!) and stop writing on this section. In a few days, I think it will disappear into the internet black hole anyway!
lol for our fake flowers….and all they need is a good dusting now and again!! I will definitely mail u tomorrow as soon as i get to work ok? So exciting to have a new very far away friend! we might get banned for writing too much here, and then..no more Rob!! We can’t take that chance!!
Yeah, we better not push it. I’ll check my e-mail’s tomorrow! I’m excited too.
Oh God, can I join the club……..my 11 year old is so worried about me, I have had to rename my Favourites file so he can’t see my dirty little secret. Now the mention of RP drives him insane! At first it was the books, but now it’s anything to do with him. I am far too old to be doing this but I don’t want to be cured……..yet!
Jo, you are in the club whether you like it or not………don’t try and fight your addiction/Robsession, as it will only get worse!! LMAO!! Remember, you are not alone!!
Remember moms, “part of being a Cullen is being meticulously responsible”! Take care of hubby and children first, then you can do what YOU want to do…. quote from Alice, encouraging Bella to confirm her story with Charlie first, before going to visit the injured Jacob.
…words to live by.
actually the saying goes as such…….if you, as a woman don’t look after yourself first, then you can never be a good wife or mom…….and another thing is, hubby and children can sometimes take care of themselves, it’s really not that difficult, they get too used to
mom/wife running after them 24/7 and we get made to believe that that is how it should be.
We put our lives on hold the whole time to please others, but never get to do what pleases us……….much. And Rob does please me so!!!
Alisa, just remember that Stephenie Meyer is a good storyteller; not Confucious or Gibran. Not everything that she writes are “words to live by.” I agree with Michelle SA. We need to take care of ourselves as well. I’m not saying that I always come first. In fact, I rarely do. But, sometimes it does have to be just about me, simply because if I don’t take a little time to take care of myself, no one will. If there is any truth to the concept of reincarnation, I truly pray that I come back as a man. They have it so much easier than we do. Please don’t say that they have to support the family. That may have been an acceptable excuse back in the 1950’s; but not anymore. Many of us have to work outside of the home to help “support” our families and then deal with all the cooking, cleaning and rearing of children. Most men come home after working all day and sit on the couch and watch ESPN. Dear Lord, please let me have a penis in my next life! I’m begging….
Oh, and Jo! By all means, join the club! We know how you feel! Long live the “Old Enough to be Rob’s Mom” club!
