Looks like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are better actors than some of you give them credit for.
After plenty of awkward interaction at Comic-Con last week, it was almost too obvious that Rob and Kristen were being told to stay the hell away from each other.
So how did Robsten spend some much deserved free time Wednesday night before their crazy day on Thursday?
We hear from well-placed sources that Rob and Kristen were “together” Wednesday night, happy at last, on the 11th floor of the über-hip Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.
“They were so private,” dish our in-the-know eyes. “They were hardly seen by anyone. Their people made sure of that. But [Rob and Kristen] were there. They had a secret entrance to the hotel and everything.”
Well, we were at the Hard Rock, too, and we can assure you all Robsten was nowhere to be seen in any of the common areas
“Who knows their specific sleeping arrangements, but [Rob and Kristen] were on the same hotel floor.”
Too dee-lish. And remember how we told you Rob was given a bit of a break before heading back to New York to finish filming Remember Me? He was supposed to stay down in San Diego Thursday night, too, but instead, Rob decided to head back up to L.A. early…with Kristen!
The San Diego airport is literally 10 minutes from the H.R. hotel. That’s why Rob flew straight into S.D. Wednesday from NYC. Couldn’t possibly imagine why he would choose to depart out of LAX instead and spend the weekend up in smogville.
Interesting there are no pics of either Rob or Kristen over weekend. Let’s hope they were supersecret together, just like they were in S.D.

Let them have there lives. The two of them a very good at what they do and so far have done a great job, representing Bella and Edward. So what if they are together or not in real life. It has all gotten a bit out of hand. Go luck to them if they can keep the world guessing, but really it’s the books and Movies I care about as long as they don’t stuff that up they can do what ever the hell they like.

I wonder if Rob is the type of man who hides his feelings and thoughts to obey his manager, the media or whoever. Dont know… I cant imagine that. I mean, if he is with Kristen and IF all these rumors, sightings, etc. are true, dont you guys think he is man enough to stand up for his relationship? I do, I guess… To me he always seemed to be quite incorruptible. So… I just cant imagine how anybody should play such a silly game so freakin long!? I agree with German Girl, if it were true, the studio would be soaking up the free publicity for their franchise like crazy. Shoot way back, Hollywood used to purposely put co-stars out in the public eye hoping for just this type of publicity. The fact that neither Rob nor Kristen have come foreward in the public eye makes me totally believe that there is nothing to the rumors, they are just friends, co-stars and probably hating all the supposition that is flying constantly.

Get some down time with close ones - whoever they may be (none of anyone’s business) and leave crazy town behind for a while.
The UK misses you and hopefully the British sense of dignity and restraint will prevail (even amidst raging hormonal teens) in the behaviour you are greeted with. I love the American exuberance, but the disrespect of personal space and overfamiliarity is shocking.
His behaviour has been exemplary in dealing with it, but basic human respect and restraint is sadly lacking due to selfish ways.

Arabella! Well said. I am sick and tired of reading all this rubbish about Robert and Kristin and to be honest I feel that if they’re not careful this is going to affect their careers. I don’t give a jot about Kristin - don’t like her but I’ve made my point about her on another thread on this web-site but Rob I do care about. He’s a fellow Brit who’s doing well in Holllywood and I want to see his career progress and grow but the way this whole ‘Robsten’ thing has started to overshadow everything else is a bit worrying. Look at Comic-Con ….the focus has mainly been about whether Rob or Kristin could actually stand each other….when the sole purpose of them being there was to promote the film. It’s just getting out of hand.Rob is getting a lot of stick as well due to the stupid tabloids and trashy magazines with their ridiculous stories about him getting KS pregant and dumping her etc…and guess what? There are people out there who are actually BELIEVING it. Anyone with half a brain cell would be able to deduce that it was utter crap. Rob has behaved throughout this last couple of months with dignity and restraint but how much more can he take from the insults and jibes of the PAPS to the utter selfishness of some so called ‘fans’. What happens when he does finally collapse from a nervous breakdown. Will these people rub their hands with glee and say it just proves he couldn’t hack it. He needs a break but isn’t going to get one from the looks of things. I love seeing pics of Rob every day but he’s paying the price. Why can’t people be more respectful.

I think Kristen chose the seating arrangements. She’s getting pissed about the rumors. I think the pregnancy one was the last straw, and she may be taking it out on Rob. So she is staying away from him in hope that the media will drop the rumors. Also makes sense about the ciggarette breaks. Summit doesn’t care who smokes together - Kristen does. Why else was Rob wandering around Comic Con by himself? There were other cast members around!

Hey, a little fantasy in everyone’s life is good! That’s why I initially read Twilight, that’s one of the reasons I read so much fiction (’cause I must read loads of nf for my job). ‘Tis good to escape. Once in awhile.
But, there is harmless fun and there is complete flight from reality. There is chuckling over the tabloids in the supermarket checkout line, and then there is sobbing because Rob did not declare his love for Kristen (or whatever). And also there is a general difference between Twilight and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. These people are more than only Twilight characters or lets better say they arent even Twilight characters. They only pretend to be! (Unnecessary to mention that pretending it is all anybody could, cause its fiction + they do it great). So the actual Twilight fantasy has got nothing to do with the persons that Robert and Kristen are. Even if they are now connected to it and kind of impersonate Bella and Edward, they are still Kristen and Robert and what they want to do as Kristen and Robert is their business.

I agree with the previous post, this rumor has gone from harmless to ridiculous. I can see them together as a couple because they seem like they get along very well, but I can also see if they are just good friends. What I don’t understand is how some of these people that believe the speculation know that they are “soul mates” and are deeply in love.

Going out on a limb here, but 95% of Rob’s fans want him happy & healthy. Since there clearly is no one here (myself included) who has any real info in Rob’s love life- its all speculation. All rumor. If he has a special someone- great, he needs it. With what his life has become, I do not blame him for keeping someone out of the public eye. I just do not see how he could possibly have done that. He’s been at work most of the year, and nearly every SECOND of his life has been caught on camera. Is she stuffed in a shoe box somewhere? I mean it’s crazy the way people are about these two, I have too gone to Ted’s column and my god people are sort out of it there, I too spent way too much time reading one the posts comments and ever so often somebody would make a comment about how this was nonsense, how they might not be together, or somebody would post about their dislike for Kristen so on and so on and people would go berserk and say they are crazy, oblivious that they are hating that they should open their eyes and see that they are together that they have sex all the time that he loves her more than anything in the world he wants to marry her and he has a promise ring she gave him……….. I mean its total loony stuff. I too voice my opinions, I don’t like Kristen at all but what I say about her is from stuff I have actually seen ( of course not in person in interviews) but these people are talking stuff about their most intimate feelings and stuff they truly have no idea about. I don’t go into his column anymore because you can’t even say what you feel, because people will go haywire on you and say that you are “hating on robsten”. They are fanatical and feel that no one can’t say that robsten doesn’t live. I think there is a difference between making a comment with merit like the ones people made on a post here about Kristen and their opinions on Rob because we are making opinions on what we are seeing but people who are just living in fantasy land completely trying to say they known their innermost feelings I think common on come back to reality. There is no real concrete proof that he is with her or with anybody for that matter. Robert fell for Kristen on set. He admitted to asking her to marry him. He believes you have to be in a committed relationship to share your body and soul. He is celibate and a practicing Catholic. See interviews linked on my name. The director had them do some pretty erotic scenes that were deleted…(search You Tube) that made it difficult for him not to become infatuated with Kristen and not confuse lust and friendship with love. He had seen Kristen in INTO THE WILD. Rob said he went to the audition in order to meet Kristen..he liked her work and her. She looks like his sisters (familiar) and sang in the movie (impressed him). They are close and may be soul mates but she is likely more “experienced” and tough than he is. The photos of her smoking a bong may have made his family warn him not to get serious with her. It’s bad enough to do punk stuff let alone be on your front stoop doing it. Dumb.
They had chemistry (Kristen never had that with her friend Michael) and especially because he is celibate, his attraction to her was evident as per the director. After the filming stopped, he started to doubt that it was real and not just from being with someone all the time. Kristen felt it too but was advised that if Rob was going to have his shot at being a star and be recognized for his many talents, she had to let him look single. More money at the box office too. I would like to see this talented and nice guy do well and not be destroyed by the lies and gossip out there. Perhaps, having morals and faith would become cool again. Rob had the guts to stand by his convictions and morals. Refreshing and endearing.
Rob said she is intimidating and has an anger to her. They spent a lot of time together on set and promoting the movie. She was 17 and he was almost 22 when they met. He was told to stay clear of her because the director was friends with her boyfriend who got her the audition, Michael Angarano. Rob is a sweet late bloomer and Kristen just recently SUPPOSEDLY broke off with her boy-friend. I hope Kristen is nice and not weak. I don’t want her to drag him down with her. Also it is romantic that a love story happened on the set of a love story. Somehow, even though Rob and Kristen were living an ocean apart, did their parts with contacts masking their eyes and in parkas and boots..they found one another and changed each others lives for the better. He said in an interview…….i forget which one(watched so many!!) that it took him a while to get over these cultivated feelings for her. Rob has said that she is tough and intimidating and has an anger. He said he needed more time with her. Kristen’s adoring smitten looks were even noticed by the reporters early on on the Twi set. Rob is and was just kind to her. He said in late March they are platonic friends. When Hardwicke pulled the erotic kissing and biting scenes that got deleted from main movie, the Vanity Fair sexy staged photos, Empire poster photo shoots etc….it was only natural that Rob would confuse lust with love. You can put two people who are attractive together and it does not mean they will fall in love. Rob started losing his confidence when Kristen said early on that she liked kissing him and he was handsome.
