Robert Pattinson Wants to Go Home
I admit to being sad when I read this article. I hope it’s completely a tabloid article and not really true 
Filming ‘Remember Me’ in New York City has not endeared ‘Twilight’ heartthrob Robert Pattinson to Manhattan or its women.
“Robert is dying to get back home [to London,]” an insider tells The New York Daily News.
“He’s so over everything. He’s overwhelmed by all the girls — they terrify him! He says girls grab his neck and clothing all of the time, and he’s not used to that. Fans don’t do that to him in London. Everyone there is a little cooler about the fame thing, which is what he’s used to,” the source adds.
“He’s so skinny and stressed. Everyone on set is worried about him,” the same source says of Pattinson’s co-stars.
The 22-year-old star doesn’t understand why women are obsessed with him.
“He’s embarrassed by the way girls throw themselves at him. The girls here are stalking him. He stayed in two different hotels over the course of four days just to try to escape the fans who were following him. He’s afraid that if he gives a hand, they’ll take the whole arm. He’s being advised by security not to encourage the crowd, so he doesn’t even look up anymore.”
This made me sad too…………..I just think of how much what some fans are doing to him bothers ME and can’t imagine that it doesn’t bother him as well . The fact that he doesn’t understand why women are nuts about him just shows how modest and normal and unjaded he still is….I only hope that this will not change and that he won’t disappear and that he won’t hate us, those of us who have lost our hearts to him…………..and wish him only good things for him…………..
I feel really embarrased for America if this is true. My heart really hurts for Rob. He just wants to do a good job and the fans of all people keep him from doing that. If this is true I can only hope that people will see it and back off. My thing is, do these girls really think that he is going to just say hey you, girl who just attacked me your cute come up to my room. Why can’t they just give him a little respect and let him do his job. If by chance Rob sees this I just want you to know that I love you (from afar) and please keep making great movies. I just want to say I am very sorry for the way the imature and stupid women behave in this country. Please forgive them for they know not how stupid they are really acting.

I can see why he love London so much though.
I went there this summer for the first time and it was amazing.
People are so friendly and I really wanna go back some time.
While I was in England I asked around to the younger people if they knew who Rob was and they just replied “Oh yeah,…I’ve heard of him…” and that was it.
No wonder he wants to go back.
But wow,…This is a real problem.
Poor Rob.
If this article is true, we most likely will not see any more of the Rob interviews where we got to know him so well during his press tour for Twilight. We already don’t see that Rob, the most recent televised interviews of him were so different from a year ago. Because he was so charming, so humble and so “regular joe” it made some fans feel that stalking him and physically attacking him was perfectly acceptable. Now, to deter further of that kind of fan reaction, he will have to become just like the rest of the “Hollywood” … cold, standoff-ish and aloof. Sad, truly sad.
Rob will most likely pull himself out of the limelight as much as the studio will allow. Poor guy, I mean fame is hard enough ….. but the dude is like SUPER famous and so not ready for any of it…..as if anyone could truly be ready for what he has had to endure.
I wish he didn’t have Eclipse scheduled right after this. Is he even going to have a respite between the two films? It would be good for him to go home for awhile and rest.
I feel bad because Rob may feel slightly this way, but the source cannot be credible because they are speaking about “Remember Me” and state that he is 22.

Oh, but I do want to add that the stalking him thing is really not ok. If he isn’t already feeling homesick I’m sure the constant feeling that you’re being watched will make him feel like going into hiding.
There are parts I believe in this article. It would be hard for him not to feel that way, but I do think it is exagerated.
I would be so disappointed if he didn’t continue acting. This has to die off some time.
And those of us who truly appreciate him for who he is and his talent should be able to enjoy.
Who didnt see this coming??? I dont blame him at all and hope he finds happiness here, there or where ever.
Poor man. Imagine what it’s like for him, and he’s always talkinig about feeling paranoid all the time. I’ve seen the fangirl videos – terrifying! How dare they get close enough to him to grab hime and touch him? I’m surprised at the security, producers, directors… They let the paps and the fans get too close. Isn’t there a way to close off the set? He definitely should get out of the spotlight for a while. I’m surprised he’s lasted this long.
Poor honey. I live in New York, and I haven’t tried to find him for exactly this reason. If I ever met him, I would want it to be on comfortable terms where he doesn’t feel like some caged critter at a zoo being heckled by dumb little kids.
I do believe this article……how can it not be true………. to have your life and work interrupted and/or watched by papz and crazy people on a daily basis has to affect him…..and although I know I’m partly to blame for loving all he is and all he does, I can only hope he knows that there are some us that would not even approach him much less attack him (no matter how much we joke about just “one kiss” or “one night”) and we hope he continues being himself and acting and singing……..and we’re sorry if wanting to see pictures of him so badly, contributes to his feeling sad or frustrated or just plain mad at us…………..
To be pinned down in the heart of young girl’s spider web, so tragic. Before the swirling masses sink their teeth into him – there should be a group effort to get the word out to leave him alone. Otherwise, Robert’s descent into a downward spiral will be all too swift. I just hope he doesn’t go the way of River. No, No, Rob’s not that clichéd.
Unfortunately, it’s not New York women. It’s those girls going to set every day. Rob doesn’t get bothered at bars or at concerts, else we’d be seeing photos of him, no? It was way worse in Vancouver; every time he went out, there were photos. It’s just that his security while filming sucks.
aawww poor rob he was treated better in Vancouver but even better in london poor guy he used to act to meet girls but now because of it girls terrify him to death. Thats creepy though being stalked and everything so so sad poor poor sweet innocent rob
I hope he goes home ..or away on holidays after this film.. he said he was booked out fo the rest of the year on one interview.. look after yourself rob..nobody else will…
his video interview at cannes still made me think he was regular joe specially when he said that people may say that he is like a tape with no personality.i think he can get through this.he just needs little break in between films.
I feel so sorry for him, and he always looks so sad i am worried for him. He should go home and escape the paparazzi and the crazy fans he should come to Australia in a small town like I live and there it’s nice and relaxed and there is never any paparazzi and cameras in sight
I find this all very disturbing indeed. it makes me very afraid for him…I know what stress can do to you…. I don’t think Rob ever thought he would be this big in the film world, but he is a superstar now and the mania will only increase with NM. To cope with that and the close scheduling of Eclipse, he’s just got to take a reasonable time out to recover. I agree with the other comments, especially Suri’s. To spend some time at home in the UK will do him a world of good. Go to ground for a while, play his music, hang out with his family and friends. Should he want to continue his acting, can handle the paps, etc, his career will be long and fruitful, the crazyness will die down, it’s getting through that period that’s essential. Can I just add that where I’m based in Cornwall, we have some of the most beautiful secluded places, he wouldn’t be bothered there at all.
I adore and love him from afar and that’s the way it’ll stay – I hope the fans in the UK will give him that respect as well.
I feel for him as well . but i think he needs to face this headon . and not let it run his life. But i do think he need some days off and away . He could come to the south. we would be very nice to him and not stock him . get some down home southern food in him. we have southern hospotality here. DON’T GO HIDE ROB. WE LOVE YOU. But please be safe. I pray for you.
