A lucky fan had an encounter with a hot and sweaty Robert Pattinson in NYC last night outside the Remember Me sound stage! Today is “supposed to be” the last day of filming.

Kirsten Dunst is the latest victim of Robert Pattinson dating rumors!

Supposedly she “wouldn’t mind sinking her teeth into Hollywood’s “It Guy” of the hour after meeting the 23-year-old Pattinson on the Manhattan set of his new movie Remember Me” … or so Star Magazine claims.

“Kirsten is absolutely infatuated with him and thinks he would be the ideal boyfriend,” chuckles a friend of the Spider-Man actress.

Friends say Kirsten believes she and the Twilight star “would have a lot in common.” After all, like Pattz, Kirsten herself rose to fame in a bloodsucking big screen hit, appearing in 1994’s Interview With The Vampire.

“She’s been sending Rob a barrage of flirty texts, letting him know she is very interested in getting to know him better — whenever and wherever he wants.”

Why does Nikki Reed think that Robert Pattinson has such a following?

“Rob is sort of feminine looking and I think young girls like boys that look like women,” she tells PEOPLE.

Robert Pattinson is reportedly urging his fans to treat him with more respect and keep their distance - because he is spooked by the unwanted attention.

Rob admits he is often scared to go outside because of the screaming girls who follow his every move - and is asking his fans to treat him with a little more consideration.

He says, “People ambush me and try and find out what hotel I’m staying at, as well as wanting to touch my hair. Everyone just screams and screams. It feels surreal.”

The Brit also admits he has been accosted by some seriously disturbed young Twilight fans, who have approached him with blood dripping from their necks.

He adds, “One time there were these four girls, in Chicago I think, and they had all scratched their necks until they bled. And then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross.”
