Robert Pattinson took People Magazines honors for “HAIR”.

robert-pattinson-london-9.jpg

People editor Julie Jordan said the magazine’s editors considered 2009’s hunk-of-the-moment, “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson, for the award, but decided instead to go with the 46-year-old unmarried father of two for longevity that has withstood the test of time. Another section of the issue is called “Vampire Awards,” and those are broken down into subcategories such as “Hair,” where Robert Pattinson takes the honors.

Robert Pattinson Hasn’t Changed

Charlie Bewley talks about Rob to Glamour Magazine:

cbewley_gl_23oct09_pa_b_216x324_1.jpgHave any of the other cast-mates given you advice on how to deal with the hype, because Robert Pattinson especially has a lot to deal with?

I think Rob is dealing with it very, very well. I mean given the fact that he is the most photographed person in the world and that he can’t leave his front door. I mean when I speak to Rob, he doesn’t seem like he’s changed too much from when I first met him or from what I’ve seen of him in interviews before that. He’s still a very grounded person, someone who massively enjoys what he’s doing and an avid musician so I think he’s having a fantastic time. Did he give me advice? Not really. I think everyone deals with it in their own way.

Did you have much trouble with fans during filming?

I embraced the whole fan thing but it’s not the level as maybe Rob has. This is my stance on the whole thing. You’ve got to try and soak this experience up because people don’t go to this kind of thing every day and you are blessed to be part of something that attracts so much attention so, you know, give the fans back as much as possible within reason. Just a case in point when we were filming in Italy, a very small rustic little village on top of wonderful long Tuscan vineyard landscape, we had a huge film set that landed there for a week or two in June. Then because of that, 5,000 kids broke their piggy banks and breathed life into this middle-aged village and made this experience - I felt very, very famous that week. I felt like royalty. The treatment we got out there was just humanity at its best from everyone from the fans to the crew.

Rob Calls Kristen a Liar!

VanityFairOuttake-2.jpgRobert Pattinson has branded his costar Kristen Stewart a horrible liar — because she keeps claiming she’s the reason the hunky British actor landed his role in Twilight!

Rob — who plays Edward Cullen in the smash hit vampire movie franchise — insists he got the part on his own merits.

“She always says that she pretty much got me the part — though I don’t really believe her!” Rob said.

Rob, 23, recently revealed that he’s thinking about quitting Hollywood.

“I don’t even know if I want to be an actor that long,” he said. “I don’t even know how to be someone else… if I start doing lame work, I’m not going to stick around and do it!”

The star also revealed that his security team keep his fans at bay.

“I have all these security men who, whenever I’m going out of the building, I’m carried to places,” Pattinson said when quizzed by a Scottish newspaper about how many girls ask him to bite their neck. “I’ve never even heard anything.”

Eclipse Wrap Party

RON-AND-KRISTEN-DINNER-2.PNGAccording to OK magazine, Robert Pattinson headed to the Eclipse wrap party, but Kristen didn’t bother to show…

There’s still about a week of shooting to go on Eclipse the third installment of the über-hot Twilight Saga, but that didn’t stop 500 people from celebrating the near-completion of the vampire flick on Saturday night in Vancouver. And while the film’s marquee star, Robert Pattinson, managed to put in an appearance, his leading lady Kristen Stewart was noticeably absent.

The bash, hosted by Eclipse director David Slade, was held at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park. And part of the reason for throwing the party before filming is actually completed, explained Slade to partygoers, is that he had to wrap filming on five of the movie’s actors today — including Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz and Taylor Lautner — so the fictional town of Forks, Wash., suddenly got a lot less crowded.

The event began at 8pm on Saturday, and the hundreds of guests got to nibble on sushi and drink freely from one of the three open bars set among the aquarium’s mammoth floor-to-ceiling displays that are home to more than 300 species of fish and other aquatic life, including a 31-year-old dolphin named Laverne, eight sea lions, dozens of otters and six beluga whales.

R-Pattz, dressed in his standard baseball cap and dark shades, finally arrived solo around 10pm and according to guests inside the party he only stayed for approximately 45 minutes before hopping into a cab by himself.

Many invited guests, who were only allowed to bring one friend, and who were required to present photo ID at the door for security purposes, had expected that Kristen would pop her head in to say hi. But alas, she was a no-show.

“It’s not like she has anything else to do in Vancouver,” quipped one partygoer to OK! about the actress’ absence.

One Twilight biggie that definitely made his presence felt was co-star Jackson Rathbone, who not only stayed for the entire event, but whose band, 100 Monkeys, was the final of three groups to perform at the party.
And while some who stayed until the celebration’s final minutes tell OK! that by the end it resembled a “drunken frat party,” the planners made sure everyone would get home safely — All guests were given free taxi vouchers to ensure that no one would drink and drive.

Robert Pattinson Owes Edward Cullen’s Cool To James Dean

robert-pattinson-dossier-1.jpgMTV gives us the reasons that we all love Rob :)

With his signature hairstyle, brooding good looks and angsty teen movie role, Robert Pattinson has certainly solidified himself as a teen heartthrob. Half a century before Pattinson hit the screen, James Dean was firing up the passions of young ladies with his own signature locks, brooding good looks and angsty teen movie role. Naturally, it was Dean’s style that Pattinson looked to when he needed inspiration to play Edward Cullen in “Twilight.”

“‘Rebel Without a Cause’ was a big influence on the first [’Twilight’ film] — it influenced the hairdo and stuff,” Pattinson told USA Today. “In lots of ways, it has a very similar character arc: An everyday girl brings this relatively strange individual out of his slump.”

Pattinson said he doesn’t understand his appeal to young women, and even as his star continues to shine brighter and brighter each day, he’s still not used to all the attention. “I’m not entirely sure what it is,” he said. “I’ll probably realize afterward how I could have controlled it a little bit more. But I am still like a deer in headlights.”

“New Moon” director Chris Weitz was astonished by how many girls flocked to the set to catch a glimpse of the 23-year-old actor. “It’s like ‘The Birds,’ with teenage girls,” Weitz told the paper. “You turn around, and there would be a line of girls standing there.”

Although Pattinson is uneasy with the attention, he is willing to let it go when people almost forget that he’s not actually his onscreen vampire persona in real life. “Right at the beginning, everyone just called me Edward,” he recalled. “I don’t really mind either way. There’s something about that character that, for some reason, has sparked an interest in massive degrees in so many different people.”

Amy Kuney ‘ Obsessed with Robert Pattinson’ Parody

This is an awesome parody from Amy Kuney!

She writes:

I know I’m not the only person to be unhealthily obsessed with Robert Pattinson who plays Edward, lead vampire, in the bloody drama Twilight: New Moon, so I decided to take my unhealthy, unbalanced obsession to a whole new creepy level by doing a parody of Twilight and covering ‘Obsessed’ by Miley Cyrus. Haha, ‘Robsessed’.. I’m definitely on Team Edward. I’m stoked to see New Moon coming out Nov. 20th! I’ll see you there, popcorn in hand :) ~amy ps. this is a partial dramatization- I’m really not this creepy..
