Robert Pattinson’s Harry Potter co-stars Matthew Lewis and Bonnie Wright, who play Neville Longbottom and Ginny Weasley, say he was “very out there” but “cool” to work with.
Robert Pattinson, who starred in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with Bonnie Wright and Matthew Lewis, was “very funny” on set and kept the cast laughing.
Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom, said: “He’s doing incredibly, I haven’t spoken to Rob in about three years but I remember when he was on the film and he was a great guy to be around, he was very funny and he was very out there but he was cool. I think he’s still got my Guns ‘n’ Roses CD… if he’s watching this, I want it back.”
And Robert’s fellow co-star Bonnie Wright, who plays Ginny Weasley, says the Twilight Saga: New Moon star has been left “speechless” by his fame.
When asked if she wishes she had asked him out before he was a global superstar, she told 3am: “Yeah maybe I should have foreseen where he would go and cling on!
“No, I think when we were all in that fourth film we were pretty young still. I think for him it’s been pretty sudden and amazing and he’s still quite speechless about it.”
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe recently said he thought Robert is “coping well” with his new-found fame.
He said: “I haven’t spoken to Robert since we saw each other at the opening of a gallery three years ago.
“I wouldn’t have any advice, he seems to be coping well…We’ve been sort of exchanging advice through journalists, bizarrely.”
Robert Pattinson has admitted he feels sorry for Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
In an interview with the Daily Record the 23-year-old Londoner who appeared in 2005 Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire said : ‘The Harry Potter I worked on took 11 months to shoot. I don’t know how those guys have stayed sane doing it for 10 years. I would go completely crazy.’
Reflecting on his new found fame the star added: ‘You just try and stay kind of Zen about it. You just have to learn to accept it all.’
Pattinson, currently filming third Twilight film Eclipse also admitted he couldn’t cope with being tied to the franchise at the expense of doing other movies in the same way the Potter stars are.

Hadn’t seen these pics of Robert Pattinson - taken back in the days of Harry Potter
Is it just me or are those jeans and that jacket horribly big on him?
Robert Pattinson might look like he was a model student when he was younger but he wasn’t.
Rob revealed Teen Vogue that “I was never a leader, and the idea of my ever being made head boy would have been a complete joke. I wasn’t involved in much at school, and I was never picked for any of the teams. I wasn’t at all focused at school, and I didn’t achieve much, but I’ve got a sense of urgency now. I feel I can’t let any more time waste away.”
Rob’s also chats about his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. He says he was a bit jealous of the other Harry Potter actors because he knew they had another three films guaranteed, whereas his character died so he wouldn’t be in any more Harry Potter movies.
Robert also admitted to Teen Vogue that in ten years time he would like to have his own production company and write movie scripts.
Robert Pattinson doesn’t think he is attractive enough to star in ‘Twilight’ and reveals the difference between playing the Harry Potter and Twilight characters!
Rob reveals to Look magazine that “The Edward in the book is like an enigma of everything that’s perfect about a man. It’s like, ‘He walked into a room and it hurts to see how beautiful he is.’ It’s just kind of embarrassing. I just couldn’t figure out a way to act perfect. I felt like an idiot going into the audition - even having the gall to go in means you’re a bit of an arrogant prick. Who could possibly play it apart from Zac Efron?”
Rob also explains that the Twilight fans gave him a “100 per cent negative reception when I got cast. I kind of expected it, though.”
* Sorry Rob, NOT true! *
Although Rob has already played a book character, having played Cedric in Harry Potter, he says there’s a key difference.
“In ‘Harry Potter’ people likes the characters, but they don’t want to sleep with them. And I guess it kind of adds a different intensity to it, which I still haven’t got my head around.”

Robert Pattinson admits that he struggled to talk to Ralph Fiennes when filming Harry Potter.
“I was quite intimidated by Ralph,” he admits. “I didn’t really talk to him while I was going Harry Potter and the only thing I did with him was when he stepped on my head.
“Then I went to this play and he was there. And this girl said, ‘you’ve worked with Ralph Fiennes haven’t you, Robert?’ and I was like, ‘well, no…’ and Ralph said, ‘yes, I stepped on your head.’ And that was the extent of our conversation.”

Robert Pattinson says he wasn’t always a Hollywood heartthrob. The British actor reveals he wasn’t what female fans wanted when he starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson in the Harry Potter series.
Rob tells Glamour magazine he was snubbed by Potter fans at one of the premieres. “At a premiere for Harry Potter, all these people were screaming, and this girl asked me to sign something. Halfway through, Daniel Radcliffe came along and the girl snatched the pad away saying: ‘I want Daniel!’” he says. “So I just shuffled off.”
