1:33 pm - A guy who is in Comic-Con just tweeted this: “edward from twilight just walked by me. he had 8 security people with him. probably not enough.”
1:49 pm - Summit panel has started!
1:52 pm - Comic-con reps are pleading with the crowd not to record the New Moon footage.
2:02 pm - Chris Weitz, Ashley, Kristen, Taylor, and Rob are there!!
2:08 pm - Ashley loved/loves the experience, Chris has stalked Rob & when he found out he was in touching distance he couldn’t pass the chance!
2:10 pm - Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are not sitting by each other this time either. They are showing the clip right now! It’s the Bike teaching scene! Flashes of Edward!Bella fell off the bike. Jacob just took his shirt off.
“Jacob teaches Bella how to ride her new motorcycle. She sees an apparition of Edward trying to stop her. She rides off, past two apparitions of Edward. She falls off, hits her head on a rock. Jacob (in his long hair) rides over to her, hops off, tends to her head wound — by taking off his shirt to tenderly stop the bleeding. Dialogue straight from the book.”

2:16 pm - Q: Are you going to do any comedy in the future? Robert said if in a comedy he could be an idiot, but prob not witty. We don’t care - when do you take your shirt off, RPattz?
2:18 pm - Taylor: He likes being pre-Jacob cuz he’s nicer. Chris says Rob is cold to the touch, marblelike. Rob: He looks like him.
2:20 pm - Robert on Edward - “I look a bit like him.”
2:20 pm - Kristen didn’t really ride mororcycle in scene. Rob would love to do more open mic nights.
2:21 pm - What was their reaction to the fan reaction vids from the trailer? Chris: He was tickled & scared.
2:23 pm - How was filming in Vancouver? Ash: Bigger following. Taylor: Both are cold & wet. Chris: Wolves are gonna be great and fan support was great.
2:30 pm - Kstew “I can’t wait to get pregnant!” Rob “being involved in the ceserean. I can’t wait”
2:32 pm - Fan: What’s it like working with a different director? How were the 2 directors different? Rob: I liked it. I was a supporting role in this one. Chris (the director) is a seemingly peaceful person, so it was smooth sailing. I knew what I wa doing in this one more than the last one.
2:35 pm - Q: Stunts, accidents, or action? Chris: No deaths, happy for that. Kristen sprained an ankle. Taylor did every stunt he could do. Rob just stood there and looked good.
Rob constantly drinking water… hands in hair… and smiling.
2:40 pm - Robert talks about how is life has become analagous to swimming without drowning.
2:40 pm - Robert on playing Edward: “At the end of the day it’s just a part.”
2:43 pm- The panel is ending, nw they’re talking about the differences between Twilight and New Moon.
2:44 pm - Chris Weitz:The book expands massively from the first to the second.So the key thing was to keep that all cohereent and faithful to the book to make something grand and beautiful out of this book. Rob: Edward’s who character is about restraint, so I always found it difficult to move as the character. So in the new movie, a lot of the shots are set up so that I can move as little a possible. The camera moves more often, the camera movement is more fluid in the new movie. So even the fight scene I’m in at the end is balletic. Taylor: When we were making Twilight, we didn’t know the reaction we were going to get. So we’re really thankful for the reaction we got.
2:48 pm - Second scene being shown… Alice and Bella in Italy! Race to save edward. First time this footage has been shown outside of the editing room. The onscreen appearance of Edward taking off his shirt, natch, destroys all decorum and civility in the room.
No extented cast must be at the movie screenings tonight. Panel is over.
