It’s a wrap on 2009! For Robert Pattinson lovers it has been an amazing year filled with candid interviews that has given fans a chance to get an inside look at the actor’s private life. Thanks to the Robsessed DVD we got to take a trip back in time before Pattinson was larger than life and just playing open mic night for Phil Taylor at The Albany alongside friend Bobby Long. We also learned a lot about Rob while he was promoting the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon back in November. As 2009 winds down, we look to the horizon of 2010 and wonder what is in store for the uber famous Robert Pattinson.

It is an undeniable fact that Rob will make his fans swoon with his casual hair flips, his brilliant knack for being fabulous, and his interesting roles in upcoming films. In 2009, Rob appeared in a few indie films, Little Ashes (2010) and How to Be (2009) along with the international blockbuster The Twilight Saga: New Moon. But come 2010, Pattinson is taking a different approach as leading man.

2010 is all about becoming mainstream for Pattinson, and this coming March the English actor will take center stage in Summit’s Remember Me. In the past, Pattinson has been a supporting actor, however in this film the actor will finally be able to carry a film on his own. Co-starring alongside Lost beauty Emilie De Ravin and former James Bond hotness Pierce Brosnan, Remember Me will be a momentous film for the young actor. Remember Me (2010)
Opening Date: March 12, 2010
CoStars: Emilie De Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper & Martha Plimpton.
Plot: Pattinson plays Tyler a man floundering in New York City while trying to figure out his life without the help of his powerful father (Pierce Brosnan). Tyler finds himself in one fight after the next but when he meets a fellow student, his life is forever changed.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010)
Opening Date: June 30, 2010
CoStars: Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone & Elizabeth Reaser.
Plot: The Saga continues in the third installment where Bella makes her decision between vampire Edward and her best friend werewolf Jacob. There is no shortness of drama in this installment, as the Cullen’s and the Wolf Pack team up together to help fight off the evil vampires who are out for blood.

Unbound Captives (2010)
Opening Date: 2010
CoStars: Rachel Weisz Hugh Jackman & Garret Dillahunt.
Plot: This period piece follows May (Rachel Weisz) who plays a women whose children have been kidnapped after the terrible death of her husband. Tom (Hugh Jackman) assists May in finding her lost son Phineas (Robert Pattinson) in the sweeping epic tale.

Robert Pattinson says he thought his Twilight character Edward Cullen was “ridiculous” the first time he read the books.

Robert Pattinson - who plays vampire Edward in the Twilight movie series with Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, which is based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer - admits he found it hard to take Edward seriously when he was researching the role.

He said: “I read the first book and found it quite good. But the description of my character is, from the first page on, completely ridiculous. It says, ‘He enters a room, and his beauty is almost painful.’ ”

Robert says he was unimpressed when he watched himself starring alongside Taylor and Kristen in both Twilight and New Moon.

He said: “I’ve watched the movies twice but they didn’t wow me.”

Even thought Twilight: has only just arrived in cinemas around the world, the third film in the cinematic saga, has already finished its shoot. Under the stewardship of 30 Days Of Night director David Slade, cameras were packed up a few weeks ago, and the film is already in post-production.

And, if you believe the bits and pieces coming out about the film, it’s set to be just a little bit different from New Moon. After all, star Robert Pattinson has been reportedly suggesting that the film might actually push towards an R rating, as opposed to the PG-13 of New Moon.

We don’t actually believe that’s going to be the case, though, as Summit Entertainment will have a firm eye on the potential box office returns for the film, and if it puts a PG-13-rated cut of the film out in cinemas, then that’s simply going to make more money. Considering, too, the large number of teenage girls who have been flocking to the movies over the past weekend, it’s going to be keen not to cut off one of its core audience segments.

However, dig into what Pattinson actually said, and it’s clear it was just speculation on his work. He was talking to SiTV when he made his comments, saying that “I don’t know what rating Twilight was in England, like the American PG-13 or 18. I think it’s pushing it to the absolute limit. It would be so funny if it was R-rated.”

He did also note, though, that “It’s a massively different movie to New Moon. There’s so many more main parts, and having these huge battle sequences, I’ve never done anything like it in any of the other movies.” Contrasting with that, Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, has spoken to MTV News about the greater amount of comedy in Eclipse.

Elsewhere, a photo of Twilight: has also been released, but given that it features Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart looking at each other, it could have arguably come from any of the movies or promotional shoots that the pair have done together over the last couple of years.

The film is due out on June 30, 2010. If it’s R rated, we will all get Twilight tattoos done.

With “New Moon” hitting theaters this week, it seems fitting that the stars are already starting to reveal tidbits about the upcoming “Eclipse” flick. And if fans thought Bella gets taken for a ride in “New Moon,” they are in for a surprise once they hit theaters next year.

“I think Bella’s little bit of treachery in the third one will be … I think it’s going to be a good scene,” he told MTV News on the red carpet at the NYC screening of “New Moon.”

While the “Twilight Saga” has catapulted Pattinson to mega-stardom, he isn’t resting on his laurels. The trailer for his new film “Remember Me” came out Thursday (November 19), and it seems to have an equally drama-filled relationship — even if Pattinson doesn’t see the parallels. “It’s not very similar to ‘Twilight,’ ” he said. “[But] hopefully it will get the same fanbase.”

Kristen Stewart elaborated on the pain Bella is about to go through in the third movie. “I’m looking forward to seeing the love triangle actually becoming a problem,” she said. “We sort of innocently touch on it in ‘New Moon,’ but it actually becomes something that is very, very real.”

Stewart said seeing Bella grow and develop in the upcoming flicks will certainly prove interesting for her, as well as the Twi-Hards. “I’ve always backed her up in her devotion to Edward,” she said. “And to see that falter will be interesting.”

Her sources reveal exclusively “that the final Eclipse scene to be filmed will involve some romance. “Bella” tries to work “Edward” Pattinson’s Marble Pole. Also there’s some corny banter about how he would have pursued her old school styles.“
